The overall sound quality of the headset is up there with the best I’ve ever had for its price range. That’s literally the only good thing about it.
Has no mute button on the wire so if you want to mute the headset if you don’t want to talk at that moment in time then you have to manually mute it in your settings every time or be forced to spend another £30-40 on the M40 mixamp that Astro sell separately.
The comfort of the headset for me is awful. The ear covers are fairly decent but very noticeable and start to hurt your ears fairly quickly. However, the cushioned bit on the headband is terrible. No comfort or cushion whatsoever and it feels like it’s crushing your head once you’ve had it on for 30-1hour and what good is a headset if you can’t wear it for long gaming sessions!
Lastly, the microphone itself. Now I’m not sure if my pair were defective or what but my pair are very terrible for some reason at picking up sound. My friends will quite often tell me that I sound very quiet or they literally couldn’t hear what I was saying even though I basically had the mic in my mouth at this point trying to be able to be heard.
I messed around with my settings on my Xbox and my PC to see if I could change anything that might make it better but I still couldn’t figure it out.
For £50, there are 100% better products that are cheaper or match the same price.
Would not recommend.

Prior to getting this headset I was dealing with a headset that was getting worn out and needed a new one. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money and when I saw this headset it caught my eye visually and price wise. At the time of buying this it was on discount so I knew I had to try it out.
When I got it in hand it looked even better than it thought it would. I use this for gaming on a Playstation and it makes it very convenient being able to plug it right into the controller which allows me easier mobility. The headset quality is very good and takes the gaming experience to another level.
There was one problem I had with it, when I first got it the sound would go from one side to the other. But it was a simple fix of unplugging the wire from the headset and putting it back in. As time went on from me purchasing it the issue has gone away. There was also issues with some audio being too loud or too low but it was able to be fixed just by mixing the settings.

ASTRO A10 wired black and blue model. Great sound quality for the price. Mics good as well, but the key feature of the almost indestructible plastic headband makes them uncomfortable for prolonged use over a few hours at a time (for me)
So if you plan to wear these all day then you may find the more expensive astro models a better buy.
Like other revierwers I found you really have to push the 3.5 mm cable into the headset to get stereo (both speakers] and the mic to work. If you only get sound from one of the headset speakers then the cable is not fully inserted.
Headset works great with Xbox Series SX plugged into controller and Astros tuning is very good for gaming. The Spatial headphone 3D option in Fortnite and the A10s is almost like a hack. You could hear aove and below as well as behind with extreme accuracy. More than any standard 2.0 headphones I have tried. Also the Dolby Atmos app on Xbox works like a charm for media and games with the A10s.
Astros default settings are also quite bass heavy so most media music users will like them on console.
So great sound quality and mic, easy to connect to any device with 3.5 mm audio output. Comfort is OK for shorter games sessions. Almost perfect at the budget branded end of the spectrum.
I think the 3.5mm lead should be a braided cable not stiff plastic and the inbuilt plastic volume control feels cheap and the headband needs more pusher and wide memory foam to make the A10s perfect. But for the price these are minor quibbles.

Saw this headset dropped to $20 from $60. Picked up it as my last headsets (two logitech G series) both broke off on one ear and ended up being dangly.
The packaging is pretty barebones. You get the headset, a few manuals and a 3.5mm cable where a longer end goes into the headset and the other goes into your 3.5mm jack of choice. In this case I will be using a PS5 controller. The headset is powered by the controller – you simply plug it in and you’ll be able to hear everything. I believe it is stereo sound when plugged into the microphone. This can be improved to 7.1 surround sound with a mixamp or some other attachments that don’t come with the headset I believe.
The sound is good. I can hear enemies and footsteps clearly. I’ve used this headset to play MW2 and I will attribute my poor performance to the sound in this game being horrible lol. The headset sounds fine from what I can tell after using it to browse on my PC and listen to music as well. I just suck.
The mic is absolute trash. I would not buy this headset with the intent to communicate with others. If my game volume is too loud, it will simply bleed through the mic. For now I am sticking with the default PS5 controller microphone.
That being said, the build quality looks solid – I feel that this headset will last longer than my two Logitechs. Astro has long been a brand I have nothing but good things to say about starting with their A40s back in the early Halo days, so when I saw them offering a “budget” headset I had to give them a try and so far I am happy. I would definitely purchase another one in a year or two if this one ends up breaking and the product is offered at the same price point.

I needed headphones with a good mic that were good for glasses. These fit really well. My ears don’t get sore from wearing them even after a few hours. The mic is good quality and they fit well. They are my current favourite headphones to game in.

Had the v1 for a couple years. Only reason it broke was because I made sure it broke. Got the v2 over the holidays because for $60, it’s one of the best headsets around. I use an adapter for my controller to adjust game/chat/master volume and bass boost and it makes the audio that’s already awesome even better. GG Astro

So I have a lot of headphones but only 6 dedicated gaming ones, of which the Astro A 10’s are the latest acquisition. They are solidly built and look nice with the green accents. The Microphone is excellent and easily as good as anything out there. With regards to sound, these cans have a lovely bass asthetic which whilst it has a wide sound stage due to the huge ear cups it has a all encompassing feel, basically it feels like your in the world. Especially on xbox one with dolby atmos enabled. I would say these are not as good as the cloud alpha 2’s in terms of raw sound precision, but they are not a million miles away.

I have 4 boys and 6 gaming consoles. We have a MANY low end headsets. This one was a little more than I usually spend but it is a very nice headset. It is by far my sons favorite one he has had. Excellent for the price. Well made and good sound and mic quality. Very comfortable and might last over a year with my boys.

First off the headset is really comfortable and the service team is great. 5 stars for those guys. I think the overall product has little to no issues. I just happened to get a faulty product. Would recommend.

This headset is amazing and pretty hard to beat for its price. It comes in nice packaging, everything looks great. The build quality is solid, the microphone is great, and it’s comfortable enough to wear for hours.

After two days of waiting for the product, it finally arrive and I wasn’t disappointed at all! The headset feels amazing, with the cushions around thy ears with the lovely music makes everything intact. The pressure that it makes while putting it on is amazing, however that can’t be right for many, but for me it’s amazing. The box didn’t have any damage, and the mic quality feels amazing too! 100% I recommend if you need a new mic that feels great in every area. It even beats the level of quality of some Razer headsets.
Cliente Amazon –

If you are having problems with your headset (sound not coming out of both ear pieces or mic not working) please read!
I purchased these headphones (PS4 version) and when they arrived and I tried to use them I could only hear out of one side and the microphone did not work at all. I tried unplugging/plugging back in etc and reached out to Amazon customer support who was not able to to fix it so they sent me a replacement and I sent back the “faulty” pair. Well, when the new pair showed up I had the exact same problem and I knew the odds of getting 2 broken headsets was not likely so I started digging around google and YouTube until I found out what the problem is.
So, the ear pieces have plastic around them that swivel slightly back and forth. If the plastic is as “closed” as possible, you CANNOT push the aux cord all the way in. You need to push the plastic pieces apart so you get a bigger opening to the jack and then shove the cord in a bit further until you hear a click and it is flush. I attached photos as well as a video (sorry the video is not great, I was holding my phone while trying to demonstrate on the headphones but hopefully you get the idea). Once the cord was fully pushed in I can now hear out of both ears and the mic works.
Now on to the review of the working product:
They seem decent for the price, however I find them pretty uncomfortable. They are very heavy and hurt the top of my head. The ear cups are a bit on the small side, but I have small ears and a small head so that’s fine by me actually. I don’t find it very comfortable to wear for very long because it hurts the top of my head. Rather than the whole top band being cushioned there is just a thick foam pieces right in the middle and I think I’d prefer the full band to be cushioned on the inside. I think what’s the most straining is how heavy it is so my only complaint is that they could be lighter. I guess they went for “durability” rather than comfort. But I don’t plan on throwing these around the house so I would have preferred comfort being priority #1 since gamers typically spend several hours wearing these. To be honest I’ll probably invest in a new pair of something else eventually that can provide more comfort but I am new to having to voice chat in video games so I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a headset. Maybe most headsets are this heavy and I’m just unaware, but the headset I was using before this was a “cheap” pair lent to me and they were SO light (though very cheap build quality and audio not as good as these) but I could wear them all day and not even notice, whereas with this headset after about an hour I have to take it off because it’s hurting the top of my head.
