This tiny little box stepped into the role that my Asus PM1855 desktop PC was just retired from ani it was decked out with a lot of the latest tech (sort of). So far I have been overwhelmingly pleased with my purcase. In fact I would like to have a dozen of these PC’s because they are as cute a a box of puppies. I have been a diehard fan of AMD’s microprocessors and GPU’s for over 20 years. I love their stuff as AMDs chips always uses less power, and they run as fast or faster than most of Intels stuff, and are also more tolerant of being overckocked. I have been honestly too disintresred in the games that are out now as compared to the first generation games like wolfenstien, and Warcraft because 20 years ago i could buy a game and i had complete ‘ownership’ or at least ‘complete control’ over whether or not i wanted an upgrade. Once upon a time a game would cost me one set dollar amount. But as soon as the gaming indutry got greedy, they started to sell software game titles (and Operating Systems) by monthly subscriptions, so I bailed out of the game scene. It just got too ridiculouslly expensive for me to keep up. Thus i I’m not able to give you a good review of this PC’s gaming performance capabilities. But for about $800 this little box would be very hard to beat because of all of its features and upgadability. –Like I said ; ‘as good as a box full of puppies’. I just bought this Little PC, and so i will come back after a more thourough evaluation…I think my wife would like one of these just for their cuteness factor. Cheers and have a good holiday season. I shall return.

This PC is great for developing and overall usage….it is not a gaming computer.

I purchased four of these for my home lab. They came with windows 11 pre installed, 32gb RAM and 512gb name SSD. I replaced the memory with 64gb and replaced the SSD with 2tb NVME, and 2tb SATA, and 1TB SATA M.2. I have both 2.5gbps NICs connected to switches and I added a 2.5gbps USB NIC for three total. Running VMware Workstation 16 and nesting ESXi 6x/7x/8x virtualization. I tried a bunch of other options and none of them worked nearly as well. Perfect for home lab.

I strongly recommend you “Create a recovery drive” and also create a copy of your 3rd party drivers as a backup and avoid using AMD Adrenalin software. Microsoft will automatically install & update most of your 3rd party drivers but some of the right drivers are likely not on their certified list, esp for the fingerprint reader. AMD security module (etc), Realtek audio & ethernet, and Mediatek bluetooth.
1.Plug a flashdrive into any USB port.
2.Open Windows Explorer (folder icon on the taskbar) > click on This PC in the left side menu> make a mental note of the drive letter Windows has assigned to your flashdrive and click on it> right-click well underneath or to the right side of the contents if any and choose New from the menu > choose Folder from the options > name the new folder GTR5-DRIVERS
3.Run terminal or cmd as an administrator > type DISM /ONLINE /EXPORT-DRIVER /DESTINATION:X:GTR5-DRIVERS and press enter. You can copy & paste this command but replace the X with whatever drive letter Windows assigned for your flashdrive. If you type it out manually, be careful to notice there’s a space in front of each forward-slash. Alternatively, you can type this out in lower case letters instead of upper case. I only used upper case to highlight what you need to type. This command will export a 2+GB copy of your 3rd party drivers to the folder on your flashdrive, a majority of which you wont need because Windows will already have most but not all in hand. It may not know exactly what the fingerprint reader is until you find the dummy device it thought was working properly and install the right driver. You may have to manually update every device driver in Device Manager. Windows will automatically search the folder you created if instead of choosing “update automatically” you choose “search this pc” > browse to the driver folder on your flashdrive and press enter. Worst case scenario, you can use Driver Booster from iobit dot com for free or Ccleaner driver utility from ccleaner dot com for a fee

I’m not all that amazed by this device. I’m unsure why realtek is constantly used. ESXi cannot use realtek whatsoever. It’s a shame what I bought it for I cannot use it. The case is clean. The ribbons for the SSD port is fragile. I mean super fragile. They send two due to what I assume is an extra measure for when it breaks. Fans aren’t too loud but kick on when nothing’s happening. Comes with crucial ram with 2*16 gb. Buying the one that has 1*32 gb ram instead is way more expensive then just buying two 32 gb sticks for the price difference. You’re essentially forced to buy it with what they add which kinda sucks. Who uses 500 gb drives in this day and age. Overall it’s decent. Kinda expensive. I was slightly disappointed.
