Una laptop de excelente marca a un buen precio !!!

I have an expensive high end gaming laptop. I just wanted one of these to tote with me to school. My good laptop is heavy and too bulky to be dragging with me every day.
I ended up buying TWO of these. I got the first one, and I can’t say I was impressed right off the bat. It had already been logged into and had been set up. When you get a computer that is supposed to be new(or like new), you expect to have to set up the operating system, but it was already set up. THEN, I notice the battery isn’t charging. I looked this up, and I guess it’s a common problem with Dells but when you are buying a LAPTOP you expect that it is going to be able to be unplugged. That was not the case. The system kept telling me that the charger wasn’t any good. Fortunately for me, I have the option of borrowing one from the school library. I tried three different ones, and not one of them worked! So it couldn’t be the chargers. I finally gave up and decided to return it and immediately purchased another hoping this one would work. I also purchased a brand new charger, just in case.
The new one got here yesterday and damned if it wasn’t a mess itself. No bootable drive was detected. Seriously? I ran the testing software in the BIOS, and it said the hard drive was fine, but no matter what I changed(fortunately for me, I know computers) it still said no bootable drive. I finally got fed up and took the backs off both of them, pulled the hard drives, and the batteries. Then, I swapped them to see if I could take the pieces parts and make ONE working computer.
Despite the “battery health report” of the first laptop’s battery saying it was fine, it would NOT charge in the second laptop. The hard drive from the second laptop was not acknowledged as a bootable drive in the first laptop. Oh, and the charger for the first laptop WAS NOT any good. When I plugged it into the second laptop, I got the same warnings as I got with the first one. However, when I plugged the brand new charger into the first laptop, it didn’t charge. The light for the power went on and then off, which means it’s not charging. So it was definitely not just the battery but the system as well.
Thankfully, I know what I’m doing, and I managed to put together ONE laptop from the frankensteined parts of both of them. One of them is going back for a refund. Seriously Amazon Renewed, get it together!! Renewed may be “good for the environment” but the average person isn’t going to spend 15-20 hours trying to figure out what is wrong and do what I did. They’re going to ship it back, which is BAD for the environment. More shipping equals more carbon footprint. The testing systems in these machines are INCORRECT. PLEASE make sure the components are ACTUALLY working before sending them out. Then reset the system so that the buyer doesn’t feel like they just got someone’s used junk. Most people don’t have the money, knowledge, or time to do what I did. They buy these because they’re supposed to WORK when you open them. What a waste of hours I could have been doing something else, like homework.

This is a refurbished laptop I purchased solely for the purpose of running my 3D printer. It is doing that well.

I get nervous when buying referbed but for under 200 it was worth the throw of the dice. This is going to be a personal business laptop. It was clean no obvious damage it was fast to boost and clean. It’s got an SSD that’s fairly fast my files would be on a portable hd anyway enough room for Photoshop and browsers. Battery check basically says it’s about 70% not a big deal get about 2hours on battery which would be rare. So I’m happy with it.

I’m giving it a try since is the first time that I buy a product like that. My aunt and I ordered the same computer. Hers came in very good condition, no scratches on the outside of the laptop. Mine came a little more used, with several scratches on the outside, it seem the charger is the original one but it looks like very used. Her charger did not worked, so she had to order a new one, the laptop did not recognize the charger. Overall, my laptop is working very well. Size is good. Weight is okay. Keyboard and installation good.

This has been a great laptop for school, but the charger that came with it is not compatible. The charger is likely putting out too much power to the laptop, so the laptop glitches out & shuts down or freezes without warning. Luckily most work apps like Microsoft Office have auto-save settings, so I never had to deal with the frustration of losing my work. I’ve learned that the laptop works great as long as I don’t charge it while in use. It’s just a matter of planning ahead & working around this setback, but overall the laptop is easy to setup & use…I just need to find the proper dell charger that is compatible with this laptop.
