Ordered drone and setup following directions, as soon as it took off, it went AWOL and proceeded to possibly return to it’s country of origin. Pretty bummed. Gave it a shot and decided to contact customer service. After explaining the situation, and obviously that I had no drone to return, the refunded my order. This is the best customer service experience I’ve ever had on Amazon. And just so you know I did order another drone and it didn’t end up working just fine great deal for the money.

The product has buttons to “fix” drift on the controller however it does not work. Upon turning this device on in a controlled space with no wind flow (my house) the drift was unpredictable every time. Even when I used the buttons to try to control it, it just made it drift in a different direction. It had zero hover capabilities. Completely unpredictable product and will not produce good videos.
Even going into this I knew the video quality wasn’t going to be great in terms of resolution, but if I can’t even get a good shot or control the device at all, what’s the point? Why make a product that simply doesn’t work? I will never know how this device passed quality checks but it is what it is.
FYI – if you return this product, Amazon asks you to provide a box and print label. So save the box it came in.

It was super fun to use and play with as long as you took the time to calibrate sensors every single time you used it. The wind will blow it around very easily but manageable. I used it in my field to get the dog active, running and barking after it the camera is very poor quality and app wasn’t very useful. 3 star rating because only had I’d a little over a month and it just stopped working and fell out the sky it did survived the fall and the dog attack that followed but one of the propellers just stop working. I would love to exchange it and try another one but it has been bitten by the dog now.

I honestly give this product a solid 4.5- Stars. This is truly an unbiased review coming from someone that has purchased, tested, and flown hundreds of different devices. I’ll admit that I almost pre-maturely dismissed this product, based on the first five seconds of holding the device, but I wanted to give a fair shot, and thoroughly go though all of the features, so that I can give you an honest and informative review. Right out the box, I “thought” the drone was some plastic lightweight junk, but as I spent more time touching, and flying the drone, I convinced myself that the plastic material is not your typical fragile plastic that would crack into pieces if it were to accidentally be dropped. I really pushed this product to the MAX! I have had it for well over 30 days, and have put on a lot of miles on this product. I have performed risky maneuvers that ended up with me crashing the device several of times. One of my flights, I managed to run into a tall tree and the drone shutoff in midair for safety purposes and took a nasty direct flight straight into the ground. I really thought that my fun ended there, but as I am writing this review, it is still operational and working fine. I have yet to use any additional hardware and that is why I am taking the time to tell everyone that this product may feel a type of way, but don’t be fooled by the initial reaction and give it a try like I did and I hopefully you will have the same experience as I did. Cosmetically, the Drone looks good, it is proportionate and has a swift and sporty look. I personally, call it the “Night Hawk”! The remote is made of equivalent quality, maybe a little sub-par to the drone, but definitely has some durability to it . During all of my flight, the drone has responded very well to the controls being given. I have not experienced any connection or latency issues. The camera also is is not that bad. I’m not sitting here telling you that it is Cannon quality, but it comes out pretty nice when you upload and edit the images on the computer. The associated app for the drone is very basic, but still packed with some decent features, and I think it is a good amount, and good mixture for someone new to the drone world. There is even one engineering quality that supersedes the DJI Mini Drone 2, and that is the locking mechanism for the battery compartment. This drone securely seats, and has a nice flushed drawer mechanism, which enhances the quality of the flight on this drone. On the DJI Mini 2, you have a super flimsy, generic battery compartment drawer that is extremely fragile to the touch. I am comparing to the two because I own the Mini 2, and so happened to be looking at it as I writing this review. Again, I have dealt with hundreds of drones, and I would easily put this product into the better half of the ones I have come across. For the quality of this product, and what it has to offer at the extremely affordable price, which also allows you to cheaply enter the drone environment, I would say every penny is well worth it. I am honestly thinking about purchasing a few of the drones and using them to startup classes and give courses to my local community. I stand behind this product and definitely recommend it to any beginner, or experts that may have an alternative use for the product.

Great starter drone! Got this for my 9-yr-old son for Christmas and he was able to follow all the instructions and put it together himself which he loved. Easy to operate and a lot of fun without a huge expense.

This is a great drone – easy to learn, fast, versatile, great features, and lots of fun. Keep in mind that this is a relatively inexpensive drone and that it will not last forever. Enjoy it for what it is and do your best to prolong its utility. If/when you crash it several times by running the propellers into trees and other vegetation, or into other things that rapidly stop the propellers, the nylon gears that drive the propellers will eventually become stripped, and controlled flight will become very difficult.
Flying on paved or mowed open areas is recommended until your skill level increases. The photo and video capabilities are fun as well. I would buy this again, and have already bought it twice so far. It is worth it – lots of fun, recommended!
