To be clear, this mouse is a Luxury Item.
Imagine you’re at an auto dealership and the salesperson shows you two new cars on the showroom floor.
AUTO A has what you need to get to commute to and from work. 4-cylinder engine, fabric seats, 6.5-inch touchscreen, AM/FM radio, a decent maintenance track record, manual in the glove box.
AUTO B is your own major domo on wheels. V-6 engine, power everything, programmable side view mirrors and seating, premium leather trim and seats with zero-gravity contouring, 12-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, excellent maintenance track record, manual in the form of a quick access phone app.
Would you shell out considerably more for Auto B or is Auto A all you need? No judgment. If you want a working mouse that clicks left and right with a scroll dial (and possibly back/forward buttons), you can find a very capable device for $10-20. Go forth, fellow shopper!
If you want to pamper your hand with the most ergonomically comfortable, flexible, programmable mouse out there in 2023, the MX Master 3S is very much worth the price tag.
One negative with this Logitech model is that, until further notice, it discriminates against lefties. If you need a left-handed mouse, this is not for you. Sorry lefties – you’re still cooler than the rest of us.
Here are the main selling points imo:
— It is a PLEASURE to lay my palm on this thing. It’s basically an ottoman for your hand. The rubbery thumb groove is ribbed for your pleasure. (If you have an especially small or large hand, you may not love it quite as much)
— 9 different surfaces can be clicked and/or dialed, all easy to locate with index, middle finger and thumb.
— Several buttons can be programmed to do any one of 45 actions. Yes, 45.
— You can program the mouse to perform a set of actions specific to apps you use like Chrome, Word, Zoom and countless others installed on your computer.
— The Logi Options+ computer app is amazing. Great UI & UX for all the programming you want to experiment with. Despite the intimidating number of programmable choices, it’s super easy and enjoyable to tinker with for 20 minutes until you’re happy.
— You can quickly loan the mouse to another computer using the Easy-Switch buttons on the bottom of the device.
— Quiet-click left/right buttons are very satisfying.
— You can check the charge levels by opening the Logi Options+ on your computer. Logitech advertises that USB-C charging gives you 70 days of use. On a full charge, I got 54 days with normal, everyday use before it died, so it falls a bit short of that promise. However, it fully charges in roughly two hours and you can use the mouse while charging it. (You can also flip the power switch off on the bottom of the unit to really maximize each charge.)
My old mouse was a simple Logitech model (see AUTO A above). It worked well enough for a year until I discovered I couldn’t do simple tasks easily like dragging documents across monitors, resizing them, or highlighting text. Swapping out AA batteries didn’t help. With the MX Master, every action is spot on. I do not regret a penny of the $100 I spent on this mouse.

This is the best mouse I could ask for!
Like everyone, maybe, I did not pull the trigger on this purchase for months. I read and watched review after review, but still, the $100 mouse made me second-guess whether or not I should buy it or a lower-cost one. I was also worried about how the Bluetooth would connect to my Macbook M2.
Rest assured worried soul, this mouse is COMPLETELY worth buying! The mouse, through Bluetooth, synced to my Mac within seconds of setting it up. Seriously. Super easy setup. You can also download the Logitech MS 3S software, too, from their website, for more detailed configurations for the mouse, which was an easy thing to do, but even that wasn’t necessary.
Additionally, it ADDS to my Macbook experience. No joke. Who would have thought? The mouse cannot only switch through your different web pages but also your different opened windows, like your webpage to your Word document to your homepage. Also, the mouse itself feels nice and comfortable in the hand, and you can tell it’s made from high-quality material.
Simply put, it’s worth the $100. I don’t regret my purchase. I even found myself sharing about how awesome it was to a friend. That should say a lot lol! I hope this helps 🙂

I purchased a logitech G502x Plus but I found the clicks to be to loud for anything but watching videos, listening to music and gaming but as soon as I tried to look at photographs or web browse without headphones on it was way to loud so I looked online and found the MX Master 3S and wow it sure is quiet and its super relaxing feeling as in absolutely amazing comfort. I like this mouse alot, its great but again the G502x has the right feel for gaming while this mouse is super relaxing and gaming is a gamepad and there loud and that is how loud the G502x mouse is. Id buy the MX Master 3S and watch the leds on the G502x because the led lights are so cool fading in and out but the noise is beyond a reasonable level for browsing without headphones. The MX Master 3S is so quiet id say its the most amazing mouse.
After using the MX Master 3S for quite a few hours im really right clicking more than you would think when I don’t need to and that might be the only drawback other than the fact that if you wanted to use something more mouse feeling and present when its clicking than you might use a different mouse but so far im preferring that its quiet and not loud but there is something quite mechanical feeling when using the G502x Plus and some people might prefer that and it is nice to look and see the led light on but im also thinking that if the light isn’t on you might not turn the led light on during the day to look at it because it doesn’t need to be on but is nice to see when its on. Im thinking mouses might be a collectable item to use when your feeling like a specific mouse, you might prefer to use a different mouse for every day that you use a mouse.

Two months now and it is working great. This product was easy to install, I use it with the MX Keys S keyboard and they pair up easily. The mouse also provide for you to program up to 3 different computers to it, I have my Laptop, Desktop and my Wife’s computer assigned to it and it works great. I also like the feel of it in my hands ergonomically fits right and comfortable. I have no regrets with this purchase. Great Buy.

I’m a software developer and I use a Mac. So the Magic Mouse is incredibly frustrating to use because it’s so sensitive on the l/r scroll. It’s also too flat.
This thing is like a natural extension of my hand and it’s incredibly quiet and incredible soft. Plus the settings allows for incredibly fine control over things like scrolling speed in every direction.
It is the perfect mouse.

I’ve been using the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse for a while now and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. I used the MX Master previously and loved it but the 6 yr old mouse’s battery was giving out.
The 3S’s battery life is impressive and lasts for a long time, so I don’t have to worry about charging it frequently. The Bluethooth is super convenient.
The clicks are soft and quiet, which is great for working in a quiet environment. The matte texture of the mouse feels great in my hand and provides a good grip.
The mouse is also highly customizable with the Logi Options+ app, which allows me to set up custom button functions and app-specific customizations. Overall, I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a high-quality wireless mouse that’s comfortable to use and highly customizable
