I love this machine! This is personally my first game system I can call mine at the age of 60. It is very easy to use a it is easy to switch to the TV or hand held. The screen is sooper clear and the docking station is easy to move around and very light weight. Best thing I can also just use my USB type C charger and it’s portable. That’s right my friends, I’d buy it again.

It’s so vibrant and flashy that I half expected my body to morph into peak gaming shape just by holding it. The moment I unboxed it, I felt a surge of nostalgia so strong, I could almost hear Reggie Fils-Aimé himself saying, “My body is ready.” The Splatoon 3 design is a riot of colors and splashes, making it the ultimate eye candy for any gamer. This isn’t just a gaming console; it’s a fashion statement. If you’re looking for a Switch that screams style and possibly has the power to summon Nintendo legends, look no further. The Splatoon 3 Special Edition might just be the console that brings Reggie back from retirement to admire its glory.

bought this after my V1 Switch got a lil battered, the bigger OLED screen with thinner bezels looks so much better and ofc this edition is beautiful and it’s the best looking one imo with the punk design. I especially love the gradients on the joycons, I’m usually not a fan of gradients but these ones hit

Disclaimer: In my pictures, you can see I received the Japanese version. I bought mine from a third-party seller, no matter the region. Any switch can play any physical or digital game, as they are not region-locked. If you end up getting one overseas, make sure your router’s Wi-Fi channel is under 149, or you’ll have trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi.
Now to start… I myself wasn’t interested in upgrading, as I at first didn’t see the point since the improvements seemed minor. Oh boy, was I wrong! To start, the main upgrade is the screen, which is so much better than the original. It’s way brighter and makes every game you play look better in handheld mode. I couldn’t help but want to play on my switch more than my dock just because of how good it looks.
This switch is also so beautiful. I love the design of the dock. The joycons and the switch itself as they are based on the game’s team colors that are picked each time. The switch also has engravings on the joystick and console so that you can actually feel the texture difference. The work that Nintendo has put into the console is incredible.
Don’t even get me started on how they changed the power and volume buttons to make them easier to press. I also love the new fully adjustable kickstand and Ethernet port, which make it much easier to dock.
Oh, and the sound coming from the switch sounds so much better now that they changed and added another speaker!
If you’re interested in getting your first switch, I highly recommend this one! But if you’re upgrading, I know I said earlier that it’s not much of an upgrade; that’s still true, as they only made the storage bigger, added a bigger and brighter screen, added Ethernet, and improved kickstand support for old switch owners. It’s your choice if you really value the handheld experience or a better kickstand. But if you do, you will not be disappointed!

The switch was a Japanese version. I got no concern about it. But the packaging from Amazon was terrible, the original switch box got beaten up badly.

I bought this a year ago as a replacement upgrade for my animal crossing switch. It worked fine I just wanted better handheld visibility in bright light mostly. I run this switch every day for sometimes 10+ hours and it works like the day I got it. I do treat it with care and unplug during storms to extend its longevity. It’s super cute, too and just all around fun for playing splatoon on. It’ll be a sad day when this one stops working, that’s for sure.

I was looking to replace my Switch with the OLED version but wanted a little more color than the plain white joycons. Battery life is greatly improved over the Switch and the screen looks great as well! Very happy I got it!

Came with original box, looks brand new and works perfectly fine. Really suprised and pleased with how it came from amazon warehouse -used good condition- not a scratch on it ! The warranty just expired about 30 days ago but thats ok for a used unit. Zero complaints and would recommend.

sad it didn’t include the game for its price that’s crazy it’s cheaper at walmart then to buy it here . it kinda gets hot and my significant other had the original white oled console and it doesn’t get hot and we both play it just the same other then that it’s pretty asf super vibrant in person i love it so much.

Never dropped or damaged. Suddenly cannot switched on after a year. Brought it to a repair shop who stated this: “most likely you were sold a refurbished set. there is no white stick found for the Nintendo warranty. No thermal paste was found on the heatsink CPU and the battery looks like it was replaced before”

I own a switch lite and this is bigger with a gorgeous OLED screen. Even in 2022 switch is a must have console for the easy of use, portability and top quality nintendo first party games.
