I ended up buying and keep this headset after trying a couple others. My experience is consistent with many online reviews: sound for gaming is great, for music good. Integrated mic, chat, volume controls are good, but not as great as other gaming headphones with a mic boom. The comfort is surprisingly good, despite the ear cushions being a bit more firm that other plush gamin headsets. That can create a tad more pressure on the glasses temples, but not enough to create an issue. The integration with PS5 is simple and top notch. With full support of PS5 3D sound, the PS5 automatically switches to the headset when it is turn on, and switches back to HDMI when the headset is turned off.

Después de ver un sin fin de videos de estos audífonos de Sony, tuve la suerte de que los pusieran en oferta y los pedí de inmediato. Después de estarlos probando un tiempo, primero empezó como una ligera molestia, luego vino dolor. Una lastima porque el sonido, para el precio de venta, es bastante bueno, pero de nada sirve si los audífonos como tal no son cómodos.

O negócio é bom mano! Alto demais que até dói o ouvido! O 3D a cada explosão de uma granada parece que se está lá dentro da guerra e perdeu uma perna! Recomendo, porém existem fones muito melhores no mercado, mas peguei no precinho né! Ai vocês tão ligado como brasileiro é! Então está suave!

First off, I am no sound expert. I saw no need to purchase a 400 dollar or more headset when these 100 dollars ones work fine for me. I mainly wanted them to use with the psvr2 coming out in February. I believe ear buds come with the system but my ears and buds are not a big fan of each other. I do not like putting anything like that inside my ears. With Sony’s first psvr, I ended up throwing the earbuds away and purchasing a headset as well. Since then, I’ve sold that setup and decided to purchase this Sony headset for the psvr2. I am very happy with the quality and sound coming out of these. And on top of that, it’s a Sony product.

Se escuchan igual que unos audífonos alámbricos de diadema normales de $500 de marcas como JBL, Panasonic o la misma Sony.
De cancelación de ruido externo tienen muy poco, pero aún así así me gustó que tiene un switch que dice “monitor” que te permite escuchar mejor tu propia voz y los sonidos exteriores.
Se pueden usar de manera inalámbrica en PS4, PS5 y PC, todo esto mediante su adaptador usb.
Hay poca información al respecto pero no son bluetooth, así que para usarlos en el teléfono u otra consola es mediante el cable 3.5mm incluido
El sonido 3D sí ayuda a tener una mejor experiencia de juego, pero tampoco es impresionante.
La principal razón por la cual no me convencen es porque con lo que cuestan estos audífonos podría comprarme unos bluetooth, otros alámbricos por separado y todavía me sobrararía dinero

Si tienes una PS5 con juegos que usen sonido 3D como 1) Death Stranding Director’s Cut 2) Demon’s souls 3) Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition 4) Returnal 5) Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut
entre otros, entonces es lo mejor que puedes tener porque están hecho explícitamente para el sonido 3D de la PS5, nada se le acerca. Es como el Spatial Audio de Apple, sólo funciona con AirPods Pro, AirPods Max… nada más, o el 360 reality sound de Sony. Es exactamente lo mismo. NO funcionan para escuchar música ni para pelis, ni nada más, para eso, otros son mejor. Los materiales son ligeros y lo que realmente estás pagando es por el mejor 3D Sound, nada más y vale cada peso. Hace que los juegos de PS5 con 3D Sound sea más realista y limpio.
Edit: No sirven para juegos de PS4, los juegos de PS4 aparte que se ven viejos, no son capaces de usar la tecnología Tempest de PS5 con todo gráficos 4K y sonido, entonces no se confundan, como he mencionado sólo sirven para juegos con Tempest de PS5 con visuales y sonidos con esa tecnología. De otra manera van a estar frustrados y depresivos…
