   I’ve been using this for months now, it has not failed me once. It gives me the right amount of length to connect my second monitor to my PC. There is no flicker, no compatibility issues, it does what it’s bought for.

   Nothing much to say here beside the fact that I bought this cable for my Oculus Rift and it worked a treat! I decided to play it safe a d get the 2m length to make sure it works (might later try a longer one). That extra length gives me a LOT more freedom in movement now and no more danger of tugging my PC off the table as I have before when I fell down like a spaz 😀

   Wife and I just upgraded our tv and had to move our streaming box and the cord was the absolute perfect length for our new set up.

   I have a new setup for my gaming equipment and *unfortunately* the HDMI cables I currently have were not long enough to reach from TV to console. The cords I have are already long and I originally was relying on an HDMI switcher/splitter but the picture quality was cutting out (it was an old splitter that may not have been compatible with the new TV I purchased. I took a leap of faith and decided to try an extender, and it instantly resolved my problem! The picture quality no longer cuts out, the picture quality is 10/10, and I can now have my devices plugged in directly to the TV.

   My PS/Xbox/Switch run perfectly now and I recommend this product if you find yourself in a similar situation/have enough HDMI ports in your TV so you aren’t required to use a splitter.

   The cord extender was perfect for me to extend the HDMI cable to our cable box. If you need more than 3ft, you can order up in size. Didn’t take but a minute to add and the tv to be on!

   Bought this to run my 4k Firestick away from the back of the TV. The lead is good quality but I have noticed an issue / fault when playing 4k / HDR content, especially on Netflix, where you get occasional (and annoying) picture judder – not all the time but is noticeable througout various episodes of different programs, including The Crown. Not sure if it’s a fault with my lead or an issue with its ability to handle 4k / HDR content – the product info suggests it should be able to.

    Item come really quick (next day) I brought this so I can connect my phone to the tv with out getting a chair all the time out to reach my tv as it’s on the wall and this lead is perfect for that and works great! It fits tight into the tv and the lead fits tight into the other lead as well and connection is great and good quality. Really happy with the service and product I would definitely recommend this.

    What is there to really review?

    The picture and sound quality is just like any other HDMI cable, no visible loss in quality.

    The connection to other HDMI cables is solid, and takes a little force to remove them, which I like. Means there is no risk in the cables disconnecting, and if you have a little bit of force on the cable, you’ll know it can hold it in place.

    Cable built quality is a thick stiff cable, and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break even if I flung it across the room.

    Used this to extend my firestick from my wall mounted TV as for some reason my firestick was struggling for signal, it has helped.

    HDMI cable comparisons

    I looked for reviews on HDMI cables. There were many that said for a 2 metre cable, it doesn’t matter whether you buy a cheap or expensive HDMI cable. So just out of interest I bought the audioquest pearl and the Fisual Hollywood silver star. I then compared these with some existing cables. I was really surprised at the differences.

    I use the cables to connect my virgin media cable box to a midpriced television (not 4K). The most striking differences were in the colours, and the way in which the edges of objects such as faces were displayed.

    Audioquest pearl(2m)
    This gave a natural looking image with pleasant colours. You could see gradations of colours within people’s faces.

    Wireworld Chroma 7 (5m) plus Ugreen HDMI extension (2m)
    this gives a decent picture. Not quite as good as the audioquest pearl. Presumably this is due to the longer length of HDMI cable.

    QED performance active HDMI (8m)
    this QED cable is supposed to be designed for long cable runs. However I found the picture was not quite as good as the Wireworld Chroma. I was starting to see sharp edges around objects, and the colours were not as good.

    Fisual Hollywood silver star (2m)
    although this was only a short 2 metre cable, it gave by far the worst picture. There was clear edge creation around objects such as faces, which made them look unnatural. Colours were either washed out, or over strong. There was no gentle gradation in colours. The overall effect was unpleasant. Although this is a very cheap cable, I cannot recommend buying it.

    Changed wall mount position for new TV. Existing cable was too short so added this. Opened bag and attached cable. 3 minutes max. Great audio and video.
