Asus has launched a new AI gaming laptop dubbed Zephyrus G16. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 with model number GA605 is one of the first few laptops powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 series processor. It also has NVIDIA’s RTX GPU and an OLED panel with high refresh rate support. Let’s see the full details of the new Zephyrus gaming laptop.

The Zephyrus G16 GA605 features a 16-inch OLED display with a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It’s a glossy panel with DCI-P3 100 percent colour gamut and Panone certification. The screen has 240Hz high refresh rate support and a response time of 0.2ms. Further, the display has G-Sync and Adaptive -Snce support.
The gaming laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with a frequency of 5.1 GHz. It is paired with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070 chipset. The graphics card has 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Since the laptop packs a Ryzen AI chipset, it has an XDNA neural processor with up to 50 TOPs. The laptop has 16GBx2 (total 32GB) of LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
It has a backlit chicklet keyboard with 1-zone RGB support. The keyboard has a Copilot key for quick access to Microsoft Copilot AI assistance. It also has a large touchpad. The laptop houses a 90Whrs 4-cell Li-ion battery with 100W Type-C fast charging support. The laptop runs on Windows 11 Pro and comes with a 1-month trial for Microsoft Office 365 and 3 months of free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
As for ports, the laptop has 1x HDMI 2.1 FRL port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, and 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port for display and power. It also has a 2x Type-C USB 4 port for display and power. Lastly, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 1x card reader for SD card.
