La laptop funciona perfecto, la tarjeta grafica alcanza los 140w de potencia, el teclado es cómodo y puedes poner RGB por zonas o de un color, puedo jugar red dead redemption 2 en ultra a muy buenos fps, warzone lo levantaba cerca de los 80 a 90 en ultra, el único que no me abre es re village por problemas de compatibilidad con Windows 11, fuera de eso es excelente, no se calienta para nada, tiene su software para subir el rendimiento y el kill para la wifi, por el precio que yo la adquiri me parece que ni armada se obtiene esa calidad vs precio.

I got one of these for each of my elementary school boys and they continue to hold up well for all their gaming (mostly Roblox) and I haven’t had any major issues with the hardware or software besides normal Windows issues.

This laptop is a great deal at $1,199. I did a lot of shopping around before purchasing it and I couldn’t be happier. Zero problems and I have been astounded by the workload this PC can handle.
My only complaint is a 512GB hard drive is a little small for gamers, but there is an open 2.5″ slot which is easily accessible.

I am writing this review after my 6 months of usage. Before I made the purchase, I read some reviews indicating the battery life for this model is really bad. I didn’t think too much of it but that was proven to be a huge mistake. For the 6 month’s of usage, the battery life keeps on shortening until I have to plugin to the outlet all the time to use this laptop. Called Acer for warranty support, and they told me I had to mail in the laptop for a repair service. After 2 weeks of dropping the laptop of mailing, they called me and informed me that they cannot repair the laptop because they found evidence of liquid with the laptop which voids the warranty. I was totally surprised as I was using this laptop for my daily work and I had never had a spill incident. Regardless, they decline to repair the laptop and told me the only other option is to spend another $1500+ tax for a replacement. This is a computer that is still 6 months new, and I have never had a laptop of this low quality lasting so little time. I fully regretted buying this laptop, and should have sticked with Dell, Lenovo or Apple. So buyers be aware of what you are getting. Acer, I am moving on and will never buy another piece of junk of this brand.

La laptop es mas que suficiente para correr el 90% de los juegos en calidad Ultra en Full HD.
Se queda un tanto limitada en almacenamiento, tan fácil como incrementarlo con un HD extra.
Dicen que la batería se queda corta, usualmente no la muevo del escritorio entonces no me ha tocado verificar que es insuficiente, pero siempre puedes poner en modo ahorro todas las funciones para extender la vida útil.

My husband loved it! From the package down to the item, it was all excellent! Worth the money. Very easy to use. The charger and other stuffs are complete. Graphics are amazing! Storage is superb! Does not heat up when charging. All in all, smart choice.

Great for gaming, runs just about anything at max graphics settings without issues. The RTX 3060 never struggles with temperature. However, under heavy load, the Intel i5-12500H does. It regularly reaches 180°F and sometimes higher, even with the fans at full blast. I got a cooling pad for it which definitely helps bring that CPU temp down a little, though it still can get pretty hot, which isn’t good for its lifespan.

This 2022 Nitro 5 refresh has improved cooling so they can crank up power limits on the 3060 at 140w. They’ve also added a MUX. The thermal is not as well tuned as a lenovo legion 5, but it is not substantial enough of a difference to matter. Can run the processor at near max boost for quite a bit.
The GPU is imo the sweetspot choice on a laptop. 3060 is around 80% of the performance of a 3070 Ti but with a lot less heat generated, and the performance is high enough to be future proof for quite a while on 1080p.
Note: purchase price was 1199, so with raised price maybe not as good of a deal.

I’d say if you looking to download all those games all on the laptop, DO NOT get the 250GB memory unless you want to upgrade/install a 1TB memory (like i did), i went with the 250GB and sadly had to pay $125 to get a 1TB mR card to store more games and apps
Pros: Plays games really well, love the red lit up keyboard, very light weighted, nice 1080p screen, able to use OBS while recording gaming, ok on storage of a 250gb if you dont play much gaming, able to upgrade memory (i went to 1TB, now i have 1,250GB) , good on battery life i play games 2 hours on a full charge/ about 5 hours on YouTube/& 8 hours on just music playing in background, Comes with FREE not full version of video editing software of Powerdirector: good software (i already had sony vegas pro), came with a case, very loud and powerful speakers, nice design of the laptop its self
Cons: if hard core gamer get highest memory, mouse pad too sensitive, the (N) button on keyboard in the way if accidentally pess its menu pops up in middle of what you typing, needs more usb ports (not an extended adapter), no DVD/Cd drive 🙁 … (had to buy a external one) , webcam built in aint all good but its ok

Bought this last year and it’s favorite laptop that I’ve owned. Though the 1050 may be outdated it still runs games 1080p 45-60fps, the i5 works very well all round, the temperatures are quite high while gaming so I recommend repasting or a cooling pad. It’s very easy to upgrade, 2 m.2 slots, 1 2.5 drive slot, and dual ram slots that max at 32gb. The keyboard, though not the best is great to type on and the size and spacing of the keys is perfect. The red design is nice but stands out too much sometimes. The screen is a 1080p 60hz IPS display that isn’t too vibrant but still looks nice.

Gaming is decent
Cons:
Fans get loud
Cpu gets really hot even when undervolted
1050 is outdated
Display isn’t the best
Overall 4.5/5, it has its pros and its cons, the price is a bit high now that you can get a 2020 model for 699$ but other than that It’s a great budget gaming laptop.
