Muy contento con la compra, corre cualquier juego que tengo sin problema, lo unico a criticar seria el tamaño de pantalla y el teclado que faltan el numérico

If you’re looking to game directly off this laptop, it handles high end graphics at higher fps very well. However, it gets ridiculously hot and loud right in your face. If, per se, you have it positioned away from you on a desk or equivalent it’s not so bad. Speakers are junk. You’ll be pushing max volume just to hear over the fans. This product is also falsely advertised to have TB4 pass through to DP for NVIDIA dgpu. After trying many combinations from both TB4 ports to external monitor, extensive research with hours of trial and error, it’s most definitely not DP pass through capable. Can easily determine TB4 doesn’t connect to anything other than igpu (which is junk). Best you’ll get is 100mhz refresh to external monitor with HDMI 2.0 and maybe 120mhz with HDMI 2.1 depending on screen resolution and monitor connections. Which is useless for gaming since internal display runs 240 refresh. Not worth the $3k price tag at all. Maybe worth half that with its limitation/annoyances. If you’re looking for a high end gaming laptop… keep looking!

Llevo unos días con la computadora la verdad muy contento, el material es aluminio por lo que se siente más resistente y de mejor calidad corre todos los juegos muy bien

  4. Felipe

Works very smoothly. It can run most games at high or ultra graphics without getting up too much which is always a huge plus for laptops

  5. Sam

It does exactly what it’s advertised to do… game on a level that comes close to a flagship desktop gaming PC… the screen is amazing, bright and yet embodies the great contrast of an OLED.. The only flaws are what are to be expected with such a powerful machine… loud fans and short battery life.

This thing is a surprising amount of power packed into a relatively thin frame. It can handle every game I throw at it and then some… Not to mention running some local AI models with all of thag glorious VRAM.

Only caveats: the speakers are a bit weak (I use headphones normally anyways) and I’ve had recurrent issues with the wifi/Bluetooth adapters (nothing a quick driver reinstall can’t fix even at its worst).

    Everything else works flawlessly!

Small and so powerful can’t upgrade ram which sucks. It’s good for the money.

I’m not a gamer, so why buy a more expensive notebook PC? SPEED! At the end of the day, whether you’re working with complex algorithms and numbers, CAD/CAM programs or large databases and project management software, SPEED matters.

What initially drew me to the Predator Triton 14 was its performance and internal SSD memory… but on closer examination its design, engineering, battery life, and choice of materials clinched the deal. It weighs a bit more than similar notebook PCs but it’s solid and built to last.

Bottom line: nice things cost money, really nice things cost more, and you generally get what you pay for. In this case, I got more than I paid for. Bravo, well done Acer!

I have built several of my own desktop PC’s but needed something for travel so I bought this laptop on Prime day at a fantastic deal. The Triton 14 has great specs for what I was looking for so I was excited to receive this laptop. The laptop came undamaged in perfect new condition so there were no external factors that caused issues. I get the laptop set up – install windows, etc. and the laptop automatically downloads third party Acer and “Predator Sense” software. I understand many laptops come with these kinds of software so it was not unexpected. The biggest issues with the laptop is the crashing/randomly turning off, the USELESS Predator Sense software, and that the device manager does not even detect the 4070 graphics card so you cannot download the NVIDIA geforce drivers, forcing you to use the Intel integrated graphics. Predator Sense is a 3rd party software app that allows you to customize certain settings such as the lighting on the keyboard and also manages settings like the turbo overclocking mode. The Predator Sense software also brings in a plethora of issues:

-Backlit keyboard not working properly: the lighting does not work with the Windows dynamic lighting settings. To fix, you need to turn off Windows dynamic lighting and then go in the task manager and prioritize the Predator Sense and Acer lighting software. Even after doing this, the Predator Sense software is so buggy you cannot fully customize the lighting.
-Issues with Turbo mode only working on Administrator profiles or not overclocking the GPU – oh wait, the laptop couldn’t even detect a GPU!
-Regardless of what anyone says, Predator Sense does run in the background and can impact performance.
-Predator Sense sometimes showing blank tabs and screens while using the app, which you have to uninstall the software and go to the Acer website and reinstall an OLD version of the software to fix.

Those are just some of the issues with Predator Sense. My laptop randomly crashed 3 times and turned off while using it on 70% and on full battery just browsing the Firefox browser, and would not turn on via the power button unless it was plugged into the charger. Even then, booting up the laptop after it turns off is a bit slow and makes it hard to believe that the laptop has a 1TB SSD.

Naturally, after my laptop crashed the first 2 times I thought it was caused by Predator Sense, so I uninstalled the software and the laptop still worked fine without it. But after the laptop crashed for a 3rd time even after Predator Sense was uninstalled, I made up my mind to return the product.

Save yourself some time and do not buy this laptop if you are a gamer or graphics designer! You will waste so much time setting up this laptop only to come across a bunch of issues that make you wish you never bought it in the first place.

    Pros
-Great cpu, gpu power performance to price ratio if on sale within the 799$ range or less.
-Chassis feels sturdy and high quality.

    Cons
-Intel chips still provide mediocre battery life compared to AMD equipped laptops, from full charge to almost 0 can net around 5 hours of standard web browsing/video streaming @ 30% screen brightness eco mode.
    -Memory is not upgradable
-Slightly heavier and bulky compared to competing 14inch gaming laptops. razer, asus rog g14

I recommend to spend a little more if you can find Asus Rog g14 2023 model is sometimes goes on sale for around 1000$ through best buy. Will provide much better battery life around 8 hours, smaller and lighter profile, memory is upgradable, better screen and rtx 4060…just better value overall.

Llegó con algunas manchas en la pantalla
