Can sit at desk with a longer headset cord for convenience. There is a typical stereo mini plug, 3.5 mm male to male adapter on each end, one end into the headset, the other into a source with that size adapter (my Cambridge radio to my Letscom headphones)- just about everything out there these days is 3.5 mm. Also fits in my Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G950U. (This is not an extension cable with a male and female on each end)

Needed an Aux cable for playing games using my Sony MX1000M3 headphones via the xbox controller.

Those that have these headphones know how difficult it is to find an Aux cable that will fit in the awkwardly small recess in the jack fitting. I’ve fallen foul of this before.

It took a lot of filtering through naff Amazon sponsored products to find their own cables but, a long story short, if you need 3.5mm aux for your Sony MX1000M3 headphones .. these will do the job nicely.

Bought this as a temporary solution to using my phone for music in a recently purchased car until I can find a good replacement with android auto.

So far it is working exactly as expected. Honestly, there’s not much to a standard 3.5mm phone connector, so I cannot imagine anything going dreadfully wrong. If it blows up or causes world war 3 I will be sure to update my review.

It is what it is: the cheapest aux cord you can buy! Don’t buy it expecting anything more and you won’t be disappointed.

I used to get this kind of quality from Radio Shack. Good to see even an Amazon Basic product is as good or better. I needed a source of a made cord and 1/8 inch plug to repair a couple pairs of earbuds whose plugs are shorting out and trying to get just the plug is not worth the hassle. This $5 cable was the cheaper option believe it or don’t! I needed only 2 plugs and a length of cable for each, not 17. The plugs look good quality and have the right size to plug into my device and through the case hole and still reach. When Basic is this good, it’s actually not so basic!

Seems to be lasting on and on and on !

This item arrived as described much to my delight! I won’t forget

The cable is very thin and would likely break if pulled hard enough. The sound quality is inconsistent as when you pull the cable slightly in certain directions the sound will stutter and become distorted for a moment. This happens very regularly and I have had to switch to another cable which costs just about the same as this product but is clearly of a higher quality. I do not recommend this product even though I have had good experiences with other Amazon Basics products in the past.

I purchased this for digital radio communication. It fit great with my TecSun and County Com radios to my SoundBlaster (connected to by computer USB port) for digital comms on FLDIGI.

I am using this cable to attach a Bluetooth device to an Aux port in my car to give my car the Bluetooth capability in playing music. I have BT for my phone, but my car is old where music did not work that way. I have tried other cables from my collection, and they always seem to give off a whiny noise while playing music. I connected this cable and tried playing music and it sounds really good no whiny noise and the size is perfect to fit inside my center console. Good purchase. Enjoy!

I’ve bought several 3.5mm jacks in the last year. I use them to connect my ageing iPhone SE to my (also ageing) car radio.
All of the other cables were useless (bad tinny quality, or just broke within a few weeks) however… this little beaut has lasted quite a while, sounds great (on my VWUP! Factory default stereo… no idea what it would sound like in a posher car, they probably have Bluetooth and won’t need to resort to stuff like this), and feels like it’s made of good stuff.

I bought two of them (just Incase) and I haven’t needed to use the spare yet! Best cable I’ve bought so far for this purpose! Cheers Amazon Basics!
