   Mio figlio è sempre molto distratto e rompe gli smartphone in poco tempo. Tra pochi giorni si diplomerà e ho deciso di regalargli un cellulare “indistruttibile “. Questo smartphone è veramente bello, molto adatto a ragazzi. Il display ha una ottima sensibilità, il touch risponde perfettamente ai comandi anche con piu applicazioni aperte contemporaneamente. Non si surriscalda durante l’utilizzo. I colori del display sono perfetti, molto vivaci e ben definiti, anche inclinando lo smartphone l’immagine non perde di qualità. Molto veloce, non si blocca mai. Ha un ottima fotocamera. Le foto vengono molto nitide sia la mattina e sia la sera. Lo zoom non le sfoca e la lascia la definizione della foto perfetta. Tantissime le possibilità di modificare i dettagli delle foto grazie alle opzioni presenti durante lo scatto della foto. Ha una memoria da 20 Gb di ram, di cui 12 Gb reali e 8 Gb virtuali. Un ottimo compromesso tra funzionalità e sicurezza e l’alto costo. La durata della batteria è veramente ottima, dopo un utilizzo intenso durante la giornata non è mai completamente scarico. Il telefono è resistente agli urti e alle cadute. Utile e adatto a chi pratica sport quale il ciclismo o corsa. Capita spesso che in questi sport il cellulare cada involontariamente dalle tasche e si rompa irreparabilmente. Questo smartphone grazie all’utilizzo di ottimi materiali e alla sua costruzione compatta garantisce sicurezza di utilizzo anche durante gli sport. La scocca esterna ha 2 varianti, io personalmente ho scelto quella argento, ma è disponibile anche con dettagli rossi. Il mio giudizio complessivo è ottimo. Nulla da invidiare alle altre marche.

   If you compared this phone with other Android phones nowadays, the only thing that would really make it stand out is the incredible 10,800mAh battery, which to my limited knowledge I only know about three other phones that I can vaguely recall, one of which is from Energizer and was like an inch thick or something wild. A quick Google search finds a phone with a 22,000mAh battery, but I can’t recall any big brands that have anything more than 5,000mAh for a regular phone.

   This phone, it’s not quite as shocking as the Energizer phone, but because it also incorporates ruggedness into its design language, it’s bigger and heftier than the average full sized phone. Also, when you compare it with other $300 phones, it comes out to be an excellent deal based on its specifications. The first thing you will notice after the huge battery capacity is the very decent 6.58″ 120Hz screen. It’s not quite as vibrant as an OLED screen, but for typical daily use, it’s more than capable. Next, the 20GB of total RAM sounds nice, but it’s actually just 8GB of actual RAM, and 12GB of virtual RAM, which just uses the hard drive space to dedicate to RAM. Samsung also has a technology like this, so it isn’t novel, and is just pure advertising clout. However, the 512GB of space is impressive, since the base level of most phones nowadays are still at 64GB. Next, the cameras take very decent photos. The main 50mp camera does a good job in good lighting. Finally, back to its ruggedness features. Most people add a case to their phones for extra protection. For those who live adventurously, or just don’t like using a case for your phone, these rugged-styled phones allow you to live free that way. It’s pretty much a built-in case, and can handle drops, water, and dust with aplomb.

   In a vacuum, this phone doesn’t stand out much. But when you compare it to other phones in its price bracket, it’s a very good deal and excellent features. I was able to use my phone liberally for more than two days. With my Samsung S24 Ultra, I usually end my day with around 50% left, and after leaving it on throughout the night, it reduces another 10%, and so I’m able to go another four hours after waking up. With this phone from Doogee, I end the first day at around 70%, around 60% at the start of the second day, and at 25% at the end of the second day. So when I wake up on my third day, I can use it for at least another hour. Please take note I don’t play any games, and I use YouTube for about an hour each day, surf Twitter and Google News for another 1-2 hours in total, and shoot some photos, and check some emails. So in total, I only use about 4 hours of screen time at most, and if you use more, your mileage will vary.

   In conclusion, this is a great phone to take traveling with you, where it can be a secondary phone in case of certain situations where you can’t charge your phone. So if you just use it as a secondary phone and turn it off when you don’t use it, it should easily last you more than a week. For those who use it as a main phone, I would recommend it for people in the labor industry, such as construction workers, plumbers, handymen, etc., since you’d be out and about for most of the day, and don’t want to concern yourself with battery life and the phone being exposed to physical abuse and having wet and/or dirty hands while using it. For $300, it’s a good deal for all you’d be getting.

   I bought this phone for my husband, who needed a rugged phone. He loves the phone, but it is not compatible with my AT&T service. Compatible carriers are Mint Mobile or T-Mobile. Mint offers the best deals.

   Had to do several modifications to make the phone even remotely comfortable to use. It doesn’t default the swipe up app display, and even when enabled it doesn’t have an app search function making it navigation hell when you transfer hundreds of apps from a previous device. The notification drop-down menu also doesn’t function at all, and you have to open the apps to view said notifications. The software is far from user friendly. The phones quality in itself is spectacular for the price range, and the specs are good in relation.

   My main concern is navigation/efficiency. The software alone makes me feel like I downgraded from a 9 year old phone relative to convenience-features.

   Aside from this, the phone in itself is high quality, durable, and well-equipped. It doesn’t have an Aux slot, though, which I despise. Wouldn’t have bought it if I knew I’d have half the struggles trying to make it comfortable to use, and knew it wasn’t equipped with an Aux.

    Seit einigen Wochen nutze ich das DOOGEE S118 Smartphone und bin begeistert von dessen Leistungsfähigkeit und Vielseitigkeit. Hier möchte ich meine Eindrücke und Erfahrungen im Alltag teilen.

   Leistung und Speicher
   Eines der herausragenden Merkmale des DOOGEE S118 ist definitiv der große Speicher. Mit 512GB ROM habe ich ausreichend Platz für all meine Fotos, Videos, und Musik. Dank der 20GB RAM läuft das Smartphone unglaublich flüssig, selbst bei intensiver Nutzung und beim Spielen.

   Betriebssystem und Prozessor
   Das neueste Android 14 sorgt nicht nur für ein sicheres und datenschutzfreundliches Erlebnis, sondern bietet auch viele Personalisierungsoptionen. Der Helio G99 Prozessor trägt wesentlich zu einer reibungslosen Nutzung bei, egal ob ich durch soziale Medien scrolle, Videos streame oder anspruchsvolle Spiele spiele.

   Ein absolutes Highlight ist der 10800mAh Akku. Im Alltag hält der Akku locker mehrere Tage durch, was besonders auf Reisen oder bei längeren Ausflügen unglaublich praktisch ist. Mit der 33W Schnellladefunktion ist das Handy in kürzester Zeit wieder einsatzbereit. Die OTG-Funktion habe ich schon genutzt, um mein Tablet unterwegs aufzuladen – eine tolle Ergänzung!

   Das 6,58 Zoll FHD+ Display mit 120Hz Bildwiederholrate bietet ein beeindruckendes visuelles Erlebnis. Ob beim Spielen oder beim Anschauen von Videos, die Farben und die Bildschärfe sind erstklassig. Die Kameras sind ebenfalls beeindruckend. Die 50MP Hauptkamera, 12MP Nachtsichtkamera und 32MP Frontkamera liefern brillante Bilder unter allen Bedingungen. Besonders die Nachtsichtkamera hat mich bei nächtlichen Fototouren begeistert.

   Fazit
   Das DOOGEE S118 Smartphone hat mich durch seine beeindruckende Leistung, den großen Speicher und die zahlreichen praktischen Funktionen überzeugt. Es ist ein zuverlässiger Begleiter im Alltag und besonders für Outdoor-Aktivitäten bestens geeignet. Die lange Akkulaufzeit, das hervorragende Display und die leistungsstarken Kameras machen es zu einem rundum gelungenen Smartphone. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

   Achat de mon troisième Doogee. Pour un usage professionnel, mon S118 correspond tout a fait a mon besoin. Il est un peu grand et lourd mais il est incassable, c’est idéal pour un téléphone de chantier.
   Ce S811 a de super caractéristiques qui le rendent fluide et agréable à utiliser.

    Molto ben fatto. La fotocamera utilizzata per lavoro e molto veloce nella lettura dei codici a barre. Un attrezzo molto efficace per il lavoro di corriere. All’inizio sembra un po’ pesante con rispetto ai soliti smartphone ma dopo ci si fa l’abitudine.
