My 6 yr old is obsessed with drones. Last year we got him a cheap starter drone and it broke every time it landed. This one has a price point that is reasonable but has really great durability. He can fly it pretty long and it has the second battery so he usually is done flying before the battery runs out. It has crashed a few times and never had anything stop working. One day the wind took it over the house and we found it in the bushes totally fine! Super easy to set up and run. You can see in the video him doing flips! Overall great little drone for those who want something durable and fun at a great price point. No complaints!

The adjustable angle 1080P HD camera delivers crystal-clear photos and videos. The FPV technology through the “Velcase VGO” app also provides real-time video feeds, allowing him to explore his surroundings. He is a very inquisitive kid, and this drone truly helps his imagination! The abundance of features designed for beginners makes this drone extremely user-friendly. The ease of takeoff, landing, hovering and 3D flips from the drone offers a delightful flying experience for both my son and I. This is a great little drone for beginners at a good price. It’s important that you read the manual and follow all of the directions or you will definitely end up with a lost drone. At first I was impatient and had trouble controlling it once it was about 100’+ into the air. We eventually went through the manual and followed all of the steps and tips for flying it outdoors and in windy conditions. We went out to an open area and had no trouble getting it 100′-200′ in the air and bringing it back (some close calls for sure though). Keep in mind it will tend to drift at this height if there is a breeze and you need to be careful and know what direction you are flying it and make sure you have it on the highest speed setting. It’s easy to think you’re flying one way only to realize you’re going in the direction of the wind at a speed that is hard to recover from. We found it was the most fun to keep it at 20′-50′ above ground and fly it full speed with the kids chasing it around and shooting their nerf guns at it. The camera feature works well and it’s important to set up so you can track it down in case it gets away from you. The case and spare parts are a nice touch and the drone looks really cool. My 5 year old son is able to fly it very well and we just have to step in and make sure he doesn’t fly it too far. I do not recommend flying this around a neighborhood unless you are an experienced flyer or have been practicing in an open field. Like others we had a little trouble getting the fly home feature to work consistently, but our friends worked flawless and he was comfortable going all over his neighborhood and bringing it back home by using the camera only. He was likely more diligent in setting his up then we were.
