  1. FloJo65

It’s a DVI-D cable, which was next step down from what I originally wanted (powered HDMI to display port) but for fraction of the cost is more than adequate for my needs. Not most robust but still decent enough quality for home so now connected (static setup) expect it will be fine and last. Picture quality on my 23” monitor is good so no issues so far (early days). Amazon prime delivery so received within 24hrs. All positive.

  2. George Tyson

the cable had a much wider bandwidth than my old DVI cable and it enabled me to hook up my high resolution monitor and was built very well and had a reasonible price too.

  3. Clancy

The cable was awesome. Provided the length necessary for my setup. However, while rearranging the furniture, this cable was left dangling…. in reach of a toddler… who chewed on the ends, thereby damaging the connectors.
I will purchase it again…. unfortunately.

If you need it here it is.

  5. William

I don’t have any fancy device that reads the signals running through the cable, but the picture and frames look good.

  6. David

I have no problem whatsoever with the cable, in fact it is doing exactly what I needed it to do. I had been using a VGA cable but the screen image was a little fuzzy. Background reading led me to believe using a DVI cable would correct this, which it did. However the DVI port was set very close to the back of the Monitor and the connector housing was not thin enough to allow connector to port alignment, a bit of reading offered a solution but rather than go into what, it’s worth knowing that you really need 4.5mm clearance between the port and the back of the monitor housing in order for the cable connector to seat. That said it works perfectly at 1920×1080 which is the best my graphics card can handle.

This cable connected a Geforce Video card to a View Sonic Monitor and it worked fine (with NVIDIA Drivers)

  8. thao

I didn’t like this item because the connectors are covered in rust! I don’t know why it looks the way it does. I’m going to have to return this cable and try another one to see if it makes a difference. I have a Double Site 4K monitor for my computer I’ve used for quite a long time. I definitely want to continue to use my monitor.

    INTRO:
With working from home, I needed to move my monitors to a different place and needed longer cables

    UNBOXING:
Really simple packaging that doesn’t require a degree from NASA to open!

    MANUAL:
    No manual

    THE DEVICE:
Good thick cables with sturdy connectors. Comes supplied with caps to protect over the DVI connector pins to reduce damage etc. They were the right length for what I’ve used them for and I would purchase them again. Not had any issues with them since purchasing.

    PROs:
    Thick cables
    Sturdy connectors
    Caps to protect plugs
    Simple packaging

    CONs:
Thicker means you cannot bend them into sharp angles – kinda a pro as well!

My son is happy with the purchase. Does what is intended for.

I bought a 32inch monitor and have never managed to get it to display its native resolution of 2560×1440. I thought it was the graphics card and put up with the lower resolution. I connected my new cable and it immediately switched to 2560×1440. Cable appears decent quality and does the job, not much else to say.

Let’s face it, leads aren’t sexy…but this one saved me from a fair bit of frustration.
I was trying to get an old HP monitor working with a new laptop for which I’d already bought an expensive adapter.
The monitor wouldn’t show higher resolution than normal HD. Aright waste of screen real estate.
This lead just about tripled the resolution available and prevented me from having to buy a new monitor and sending back the adapter.
Lifesaver… well, not quite…but very handy.
