I bought this to use on my Steam Deck, and it works fine. It also works to charge my phone, and my PS5 controller. There is that weird warning about not using this charger to start up the system initially, or after it’s been updated, so don’t throw out your stock charger. Otherwise, the only way it could have been better would be to have a second port, so you could charge 2 things at once.

I leave the factory charger home. This one can charger any of my usb c devices. I can choose the appropriate length cable for my use. I carry a long one in my travel pack especially for when I use my steam deck dock
