It does not give an accurate yardage. The item sometimes picks up a nearby hole and won’t calibrate to the hole if on. I like the magnate and display. But it is often incorrect

Bought on a Saturday and delivered the next morning. Very nice product that is quick to update yardages. Connection speeds to locate courses is a little slow, but acceptable. The magnet on the back is extremely strong and never fell off the cart where I put it on the bar. Definitely worth buying.

I got this GPS and headed out to the course to try it after charging it up. I took the included “quick start” pamphlet with me so I was sure there were no issues. Well that wasn’t the case. It was easy to power on and the buttons, unlike others have said, were easy to use too. But, I wanted to use the scorecard so I referred to the “quick start” info. I followed the instructions but I could not get it to work. I told myself that the GPS was defective and used my phone for scoring. When I was done, I decided to look further into the issue. I found that the “quick start” info neglects to tell you that in the settings tab there is an option to “toggle” on/off the option of the scorecard. If it’s not on, then you can’t toggle to the scorecard. Hopefully it will work for my next round. My round took about 3 hrs and I used 15% of the battery. I used the magnet to mount it to the cart and on a very bumpy cart path, it never moved. I’m happy with it, especially now that I have scorecard working, but that’s the reason for 4 stars.

When powered on would only display satellite screen and never move beyond that to display courses to play.

What I like about the Izzo Swami 6000 Handheld Golf GPS is the easy to understand display of hazards. Un like the phantom 2 the display for front middle and back of the green is large readable print and the diplay of the hazards is easy to understand. If you are squinting at you display on your GPS watch or handheld take a look at the Izzo Swami 6000 Handheld Golf GPS, it is afforadable and I have checked the accuracy with other GPS usnits on the same hole with no differance in yardage. Also if you have ever just picked up the phantom 2 you have probably advanced a hole by accident the Izzo Swami 6000 Handheld Golf GPS design is well thought out to prevent that from occuring.

Finds the course when you power it up on the first tee. I like the readout, nice and large, gives distances to water, bunkers and green. Will also tell you how long your drive or fairway shots are. I like it better than my rangefinder, just a quick glance and you know where you are approaching the green. Battery life is also good. I would buy it again, but why on earth would I need two?
