This was recommended by an instructor from my hvac class. Said he has one that he uses when trying to get into tight places looking for a leak or to inspect the a-coil. I bought this for a multitude of different reasons. I haven’t been disappointed, great little camera. You do have to download an app for it to work on you iPhone. It allows you to take pics and video of whatever you’re inspecting. Highly recommend it

This endoscope would not stay on, I would have to continually unplug and plug it back in and it would just turn off again. The software was up to date and for the short time it would stay on it worked amazing and had a good picture. My phone port is not worn out because nothing I ever plug into my phone has ever had a problem. I would not buy this product, it’s what I get for getting the cheapest one on Amazon.

The camera was very easy to use, download the app plug it in and you’re set. I was installing new electrical wiring I was able to see what I needed to run wire through the ceiling and down the wall. I would have given it five stars but the plug broke after the second use. They sent me a replacement within two days so five stars for customer service. For $20 it’s a great tool.
