I love the quality of it, it feels sturdy and it could last a long time.

The problem is I have a case by SENQAO on the Steam Deck and it just won’t fit properly. If you REALLY push it, it’ll fit, but doesn’t feel like it’ll stay if it’s moved a little. As you can see in the picture, the case makes it so it doesn’t fit flush with the rubber on the bottom. If you push it all the way down the deck will be completely vertical and not like in the sellers picture. That being said, this is my problem, not a product issue, I based this purchase off reviews and questions saying cases work with it, which this shows it does not. I’d take the case off to set it on the stand, but it’s a big hassle to take on and off. I did in fact take it off to test if it fits, which it does perfectly as intended.

Get this if you need a no-frills Steam Deck stand that only works with SOME cases for it or none at all.

I won’t be returning this item, it does as intended!

So yeah, this stand, study, well built and does what you need, holding the deck at a good angle. It has one downside, which I would have like to see accounted for. The size for the spot for the deck, if you put a case on your deck it will struggle to fit, sharpen the viewing angel, and if the case is soft, put a bunch of pressure on the lip under the screen and possibly warping a case if left too long. Overall, can’t beat it for the price, if you could adjust that gap, even by 1/2 inch to accomadate units in a case, then it would have been ‘great’

It’s a stand. Knocked a star for slightly blocking the air intake vent.

  4. Cesar

If you already have a USB type C hub, pair it with this stand and your of to the races.

  5. T. Barker

Nice stand, metal feels solid, only downside is that I also purchased the “OwlTree Upgraded New 2022 Protective Case”, and the Steam Deck will not technically fit on the stand if the case is installed. Nothing wrong with the stand, just a warning if you plan to use a case too

  6. John Anthony

Not much to say about it, it holds it up well enough which is all that I need it to do.

  7. Justin P.

Nice solid stand! Has rubber feet and a rubber pad where the Steam Deck sits. After seeing that Steam delayed the official dock even more, I decided to build my own. It’s perfect for creating a dock! Cost only $50. Here’s what I did:
    1.) This stand
    2.) 5-in-1 USB-C Hub
    3.) 90-degree USB-C adaptor
    4.) 3M velcro pad
    5.) HDMI cable

Used velcro to adhere the USB-C hub to the back of the stand where it’s flat. Attached the 90 degree adaptor to the cable of the hub so that it can plug into the steamdeck without bending/tension. And voila! Plug an hdmi and the supplied steamdeck power cable into the Hub and enjoy your steamdeck on the TV!

  8. GreyMinion

Great stand. It does the job, holds the steamdeck without letting the steamdeck fall over. I use it with a USB-C hub like a dock when using the steamdeck in desktop mode. Definitely recommend as a simple option if you don’t have a proper dock or already have a USB-C hub and just need a stand.
