Cables were a little short for my 65 inch tv. Bought an extension for 3 dollars and is perfect.

These USB powered lights are very dim and the USB cable is too short. Also, if you power them from your computer’s USB port, when the computer is powered of and back on again, the lights always reset their color to red.

I’m slightly disapointed. These 2 bars are connected with one usb cable, and they both have to be set to the same color. They occassionally are different colors if you’re scrolling through the various non static modes, but you can’t control it, like set one to orange, and one to teal. The pictures sure make it look like that’s something you can do, but I haven’t been able to.
If there is a way to do it, it’s not intuitive and there are no instructions, spare for a little card that says you can power it with a PC port, power bank, or wall brick.
The cord is pretty short, which isn’t a big deal to me, I have a bucket of USB extension cables, but you may have trouble putting them where you want without one.
These will have to do for my next few projects, but if I had known their limitations, I would have spent a little more money on something else.

The quality is surprising for the price range. I definitely recommend this as a quick and low budget solution. Will see if the remote controller lasts for long, they usually break pretty quickly. PS: I will update the post if anything changes…
