For the low price, this monitor packs a punch. This was the cheapest 240hz monitor I could find and at first i was skeptical. When I plugged it in I was shocked with the picture quality and the colors. For the price the quality and viewing angles were amazing. It was also very simple to set up and it was ready to go in less than 5 minutes It was also nice that it came with a display cable, and instructions. Highly recommend for smaller budgets and even if you have more to spend.

Amazing color quality and I can tell the difference in response time from my previous monitor.
After being in the pc space for years I can say this is a good bang for your buck!

First of all, this monitor comes with a magnetic tip screwdriver for setup, which is very convenient. The stand is very sturdy and high quality. The monitor has a nice menu and as far as performance and image quality, it is exactly as advertised. This is an all around great monitor and Sceptre might be my new main monitor company.

I would like to start by telling you that this is a great monitor overall (specially when you consider the price). The picture quality is great, though it’s not the crispiest, even if you’re just coming from using a 1440p monitor of the same size, as I am. This is roughly 90 PPI, and the 1440p one is 122 PPI… the difference IS noticeable. There are 2 main selling points that may interest you, if you’re looking for something similar:
– 240 Hz at less than $200… Heck, at less than $150.
– An above-average picture quality for the price, mainly due to the contrast-y VA panel (pretty good blacks, great for content consumption, though no fancy features, like HDR, obviously).
– Decent brightness level (320 nits, advertised on the manufacturer’s website).
Here’s something not-so-great that you might want to now about before buying:
– VA is not the best panel technology for gaming, even though this is marketed as a gaming monitor. The season? Black smears WILL appear, specially at lower frame rates. Something to note, is that this monitor comes with the overdrive setting set to medium by default, and it completely destroys the image quality in motion. If you’re planning to buy this monitor, PLEASE turn off the overdrive in the monitor’s settings panel; it doesn’t even have a positive effect. If you want a clearer image, there’s a blur-reducing feature that works pretty well, but you can’t turn that AND Freesync on at the same time, unfortunately.

The picture quality is excellent and ive used tons of monitors over the years the latency feels even lower than my zowie monitor i use for competitive games as crazy as that sound my shots hit way faster on this. The only drawbacks is the stand and menu navigation using buttons instead of a joystick but for this price and latency your still getting a crazy good monitor. Just pick up an arm mount with the money saved from this when tons of 240hz monitors cost 3x more and have worst picture/latency.
