I bought these strictly for Xbox Series X play, specifically FPS like MW and Apex Legends, etc. I was not expecting much since I hadn’t bought a Turtle Beach headset in a decade and I equate the brand with “cheap and disposable.”
I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Sound stage is decent and they are comfortable. They hold a charge well….and last both a long time gaming and idle. I like that they are easy to charge with any standard micro-USB cord.
One con is that the USB receiver occasionally glitches the Xbox into thinking it is a controller. An uplug/replug usually fits it.

When my 12 yo opened this on Christmas morning he was thrilled because he wasn’t expecting a new head set. Yes, this is probably his 3rd one…he’s had all different ones BUT the fact that this is wireless is awesome. He loves it and says it’s the best headset ever! Yes it’s pricy but remember you get what you pay for.

Certainly a well balanced and feature-full headset without completely breaking the bank. I bought it used through amazon and luckily it is built well enough that it could handle the extra mileage before landing on my doorstep. Works well for my use. I am no professional gamer, but I play with a buddy of mine for an hour or two about 3 days a week and I rarely have to charge it, I am sure that won’t be the case for heavy gamers that play for hours on end almost daily but for my use, it feels pro-grade without costing pro-grade. I have a few nice studio headphones for writing and recording at home for my full time job and honestly, I really appreciate the sound quality of these cans and how comfortable it is to wear. Great product and I highly recommend! (review was submitted after several weeks of use)

The only thing stopping a 5 star review is the fact that this is not the most comfortable headset out there. 5/5 for sound quality, battery life, and voice clarity. But, 3/5 for comfort and ergonomics.

I have a big ole noggin, and headphones often feel tight. If they don’t squeeze my skull, most headphones at least squish my ears. These fit great and are genuinely comfortable. I had a comparable low-end wired Turtle Beach headset about 10 years ago, and they’ve really stepped up their game.
Beyond comfort, this headset has nice sound quality and convenient buttons (game volume, mic volume, on/off) on the left side. The mic sounds good, folds in & out seamlessly, and has perfect feedback into the headphones so you can adjust to cut out background noise if needed.
There’s enough range for me to use these headphones across my entire apartment, so I don’t have to pause my YouTube videos when it’s time for cookin’ or poopin’. It works on my Xbox, PS5, and docked Nintendo Switch… such versatility for a cheap-ish headset!
The only drawback is a very minor gripe: the Bluetooth receiver needs to be plugged into a console’s USB port manually. Getting up to move a little USB doohickey from one box to another is a tiny price to pay for an affordable and versatile headset of surprising quality.

Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten him these to encourage his gaming addiction but he enjoys them. They are not noise cancelling which is good because then he can’t ignore me, he did say the mic picks up quite a bit of background noise but he doesn’t mind. Comfortable and looks nice. He uses with PS5

I plugged their transmitter to the computer (which doesn’t do a dang thing for the Xbox). As soon as I put these bad boys on I can hear my kids TV in the back ground and wife talking to her friends in the other room. except the game). And yes I lower the knob on the side which magically, does nothing. I finally found how to do it on YouTube. Unplug the transmitter (from the Xbox), turn the transmitter from Xbox to USB (while it’s not plugged into anything). Turn your headphones off and lower the chat wheel all the way down. Switch your transmitter back to Xbox and plug it into your Xbox and turn on your headset and it should be off now.

Easy to hook up to the Xbox and the noise cancelling is amazing! Before I say this next thing, my spouse was tending to our 1 year old and he was screaming because he didn’t want to take a much needed nap but I could not hear him at all with this headset on!! Is there such a thing as “too good”? 🤣😂🤣 I am very impressed!
