This 20′ Cat 6 cable is a lighter weight 26 AWG cable. It is significantly more flexible than 23 AWG cable. It has unshielded connectors with a decent strain reliever. Once of the locking tabs was bent up sticking out at nearly a 90 degree angle to the cable. Fortunately I was able to push it back down and it doesn’t appear worse for the wear. It works well and I’ve had no problems with the cable. A good cable at a good price.

I’m on a 1 gigabit fiber line at the house, and in general, I don’t actually NEED more than the 2500350 Mbps I get over wi-fi, but sometimes, it’s just nice to be able to either quickly upload files to the cloud, or download a game so fast that it’s the game servers, not my wi-fi, that’s bottlenecking things.
All that being said, this is a nice cable. I mean, it’s not braided with kevlar and ceramic filament or anything like that, but I also don’t intend to regularly run over it with a lawnmower or semi. It’s thick and stiff enough to suggest it’s got all the proper shielding, and unlike some cheaper cables, the RJ-45 plugs don’t get hopelessly stuck inside the ethernet port because QC was lacking, but it’s also not so thick or unwieldy as to cause problems if you need to run it along a baseboard like I have. Regular old staples or gaffer’s tape work great to keep it in place.
