Malgré que c’est une montre pour homme, je la trouvais trop spéciale! Je suis une femme et j’ai un petit poignet alors j’ai fait deux trous supplémentaires au bracelet et j’ai taillé en longueur pour pas que ça fasse le tour complet! This thing gets compliments left and right. It is such a cool and unique watch. It’s very lightweight. Telling time on it takes a little time to get used to but other than that it’s awesome. It comes in a nice box with a little pillow inside. This would make a great gift.

I bought this watch to commemorate an event which occurred rather recently.
I was with some friends in the park and pointing out directions when a sparrow landed on my extended hand.
Being a rather robust fellow and an oil field worker, imagine my surprise at being called a “Disney Princess” by the comedian in our group.
I saw the name Bobo Bird before I had even looked at the watches, and decided to get a wristwatch from this company to counter any future assaults on my masculinity.
My intention was to use the timepiece like an Uno card.
Uno, for those of you youngsters is a primitive game from the days of antiquity.
It was often sold alongside the game Twister, which was a form of color-coded yoga that simulated sexual foreplay.
These games were not meant to be played simultaneously.
Anyways, imagine my surprise and curiosity when I discovered this oddity of a wristwatch made of wood.
It made me wish that my grandfather, a self-made man who often whiled away the hours whittlin’ on the front porch were still alive to see it.
Of course, the old racist wouldn’t have appreciated the unique style as he lacked the social refinement to appreciate such subtle nuances.
Or, for that matter, that all Asians weren’t “Chinese.”
A point I had to make several times whenever I brought my wife with me to visit the Ol’ homestead.
But, I digress…
The watch appears well made and has an excellent finish and the band is both resilient and comfortable.
It came wrapped around a little pillow that reminded me of hemp: a substance also known for its resiliency and ability to make the time pass comfortably.
It also came with instructions in an quaint little envelope that made me feel, well… like a Princess.
Five stars for an awesome watch and for helping me to appreciate that side of myself.

I LOVE this watch. I get TONS of comments and compliments on it. It takes a little while to remember which color is the hour and which is the minute, but after you get those colors associated with the correct ‘hands,’ you’re good to go.
Comfortable durable. I actually slipped and fell into our pool wearing the watch … and it survived the dunk.

I purchased this for a friend who hasn’t worn a watch since he retired, claiming he didn’t need to keep up with the time anymore. So when I saw this one with its’ unusual relaxed method of displaying the time, I thought it would be suitable for him. He loves it! The wooden case is very nicely constructed, and has a large enough face to easily read the time via the cool little black/red dot layout, although not as easy in dimly lit settings. The brown strap is a bit flimsy, but suited to the modest price. The whole idea of noting the time in a casual manner, ignoring the exact seconds and minutes as they pass is what this watch is all about. It has a simple quartz movement, and comes in a remarkably nice presentation box. Of course, only time will tell how reliable it is. We shall see.

This watch gets me a lot of attention, sometimes too much. It’s a great conversation piece. People be like “I love your watch” and I’m like ” yeah everybody loves my watch”. I usually have to proceed with answering many questions consisting of “how do you tell time?” or “is that wood?” or “where can I get one?”. It probably stirs up more conversations than a $6000 Rolex would. If you like meeting new people, get this watch. Wear it on a first date to break the ice. Wear it to a job interview and that job will be in the bag. Want that promotion, gift one to your boss. This is the perfect anti-smartwatch, give them to your kids who are entitled to $500 apple watches for some reason. Watch them figure out how to tell time on it. It’s not easy to read, but you get used to it. My only complaint is the quality, particularly with the band. They don’t last all that long, and I’ve been through a couple of them. But the one I have right now has been holding up for longer, so maybe they have improved?
