Use it to connect between my PC and my USB Dock, and it has been fine! Zero drop outs, and worked straight away. Cable is on the thicker side and feels high quality.

  2. Sam

Since buying this my son has been able to use his oculus to its full capacity. Feels strong so not worried about breaking with all the movement.

I bought this cord to use as a link cable with my Oculus Quest 2. It definitely works, for this application. The cord even has a couple reusable Velcro tie-wraps included, which can easily be used as a quick and dirty way of securing the cable to the side of the headset for strain relief. However, there’s some weird quirks with this cord that make me think there’s probably better options out there. The cable is very stiff, holding it’s coiled shape, which keeps it from laying flat on you as you play. It’s also quite noisy. This too may be down to it’s stiffness, but you can really hear the shielding and copper shifting around in the cable as you move around. This is especially evident given the thing’s right next to your ear at all times. Those first 2 issues may fade with use however, what won’t fade is the texture of the cable itself. For some reason, that’s completely beyond me, the manufacturer decided to give the cord a rubberized, grippy, coating to the entire length of the wire. This is horribly annoying as it provides extra resistance whenever you try to turn your head. For me it’s essentially a deal breaker for using it for VR. If this cable happens to be dramatically cheaper than other off-brand link cables (it’s not as of writing), it might be worth getting as a spare, because again it absolutely works. But the devil’s in the details and, for this product, those details kill it’s chances as a daily driver for me.

Works like a charm. I haven’t had any issues with it. Latency and quality is great. One note is that it won’t charge your Quest if you are running at higher refresh rates. If you make sure your Quest is fully charged before using it, you won’t have any issues.

Whether you want this for charging, or for Oculus Link, this works flawlessly.

People who say the charging doesn’t work need to change a setting on their PC to allow full power to the USB port. After that, I could use this to charge and okay PCVR games, and also for sideloading and Sidequest

I’m using the cable to link an Oculus Quest 2, with a gaming PC. Sadly this cable doesn’t have a usb c connector at both ends. So I’m left wandering if I’d get a better bandwidth, with a different cable. It does work though.

I purchased this device, the 16′ USB to USB-C Connector for my Meta Quest 2 headset. This device is working properly, but all I have are USB-2 cords and I needed a USB-3.0 cable with a USB to USB-C to work with my desktop as I do not have any USB-C to USB-C connectors on this tower.

The cable came nicely packaged and wrapped, but even upon the very first connection, I was never able to get a stable connection to the Meta Quest. Every 2-3 seconds the screen would flash for a connection, and it would fall away. Flash again, fall away. Over and over and over and over.

USB-2 cables I have plugged into the USB-3 slots and USB-2 slots performed adequately, but the data rates just aren’t high enough. But they work. They don’t drop connection or lose data, or error out. So the device itself and my computer are working fine.

The cable is also noisy, lots of crackling like a short in the wire right out of the bag or the insulating foil snapping and breaking due to being too brittle.

I had high hopes for this, and I am heavily disappointed in the failure of this product. I am returning for a replacement, so I hope that this resolves the issue and the 2nd cord works as it should.

  8. Amazon Customer

works great as a link cable for to quest 2. couldn’t get it to work initially as I still had air link switched on. but once air link switched off it worked fine.

  9. Brian L

    Works great

  10. John Marnell

I dig it, well made, long, angled end, and works with the finicky-AF Jamstik Studio guitar

  11. WS

It’s a cord. Not much to say about a cord. It works pretty well with my quest 2. Doesn’t charge it fast enough to keep up while using the quest, but extends play time considerably and I like the little details of not one, but two velcro cable ties that allow it to be coiled and stored easily, and the right angle connector that reduces stress on the port.

  12. Stephen Brown

Worked fine as always on charging cable too.
No complaints, length was good and so far durability and flexibility is what you would expect. velcro strap holds cable to head strap securely.
It is a bit thick as far as USB cables go – but no complaints regarding usability and I hope that will make for long term durability.

  13. M. W.

Long length is perfect, charges easily and quickly
