The cable was used to connect a second screen to my tablet. I needed a mini HDMI to HDMI female cable a HDMI to VGA adapter and a second screen (refurbished 19″ wide TFT LCD monitorfrom Amazon £22.99). Whole kit cost less than £35 and works superbly. Cable however was unable to securely connect as the fixing screws were too short to reach. Otherwise OK.

Firstly this is a very short cable. It was actually perfect for what I wanted (to connect a microcomputer that was screwed to the back of the monitor, to the monitor) What was annoying was that the locking screws were not long enough and couldn’t be used.

The description is a bit misleading… it is not a 1ft cable. It measures 1ft end to end of the adaptors, the actual cord itself measures 8.5″ rendering it basically useless. For what it’s worth, it did appear to work when connected.

I didn’t get a chance to test out the cables as they were too short. It’s MAYBE a foot long from the very end to end so the cord is actually only about 8 or 9 inches long. The cable is very thick which is a good thing but makes it hard to bend around things. It’s a great length if you have a computer on a VESA mount of the monitor you are connecting like a Dell Micro PC. Other than that, it’s too short for anything else.

watch out, The cable is shorter than 1 foot (measures 8.5″) and when you try to make the return the seller tries to charge you with the shipping costs (6 dollars through Canada Post) despite it being a Prime item.
