Excellent floaty, been using the Bodhi with the Hero 7 but bought this having upgraded to the Hero 8. Very high quality and has a very good solid Plastic attachMent point for a lanyard. A great float.

I wanted to get videos of my sons surfing with my new GoPro Hero Black 8, but was worried about losing the camera in the ocean. The Floaty easily but securely fits over the camera and by itself keeps the camera floating at the top of the water. The bright orange color is easy to spot in the ocean should you lose it. When the floaty is on you can still attach it to other items, like a suction cup mount or floating handle, for added protection.

Definitely was sent one for the hero 7. But I got it literally 2 days before I was leaving so I didn’t have much of a choice. It will fit on the hero 8 but it’s a tight fit and the plastic screen piece will not fit on if the 8 is in there.
It was for the wrong one, but it still worked so it’s whatever. I’m lazy so I will probably just keep using it.

Purchased this for my husband as we just got him a new gopro hero 8 black. He takes it all the time when he goes out on his boat so a floaty was mandatory!! He really loves this floaty and says it doesn’t interfere with taking video or pics.

The floaty is way bigger than expected. But it does it’s job obviously. Don’t connect a selfie stick to your GoPro while using the floaty it’ll sink. Instead buy the floating selfie stick if you want to use a selfie stick. Kind of hard to click the screen with the floaty. The floaty isn’t foam, it’s like a kinda hard plastic.

I ordered this as new, but received a used item. The box had already been opened. Box was battered, with evidence of spilt liquid (coke? coffee?) on the outside AND inside. The floaty itself was covered in scratches. I suspect some content may also be missing. VERY unhappy with this order.

Functional and floaty, but just check that it still floats with any other attachments/mounts that are connected, don’t assume.
