I ended up returning this item because I realized it wasn’t what I was looking for specifically. I wanted really bright lights, close to studio grade even lmao, but this light mod isn’t built for that. It’s meant to accompany outdoor activities so it’s not that bright. However, it was easy to use, didn’t give me any problems, and I think it has great value for the money I paid. Overall, it’s a decent light mod, just not what I was looking for.

I purchased this to attach to my GoPro’s Media Mod because I frequently want a little more direct lighting on the items I am featuring in my videos (my arms tend to put shadows across things from the recording area’s bigger lights), and it was either get a light that can attach to the camera or a ring light to prop up around the camera.
I looked at other lights that could attach to the camera (or rather have the camera attach to them), but many of them would put extra weight on my camera arm, and had shorter battery life, and some recording sessions can be over two hours long.
Even though there were cheaper lights available, and believe me I did look at them, I decided to spend a little more on the brand name, and after a month or so of use, my only complaints are the light glaring off of reflective objects (which is just how light works, and not a problem with this product), and that you cannot access the charging port without popping off the little diffuser cover that comes with it.
It’s not perfect enough to warrant a perfect score, but it does what it is meant to do, and you could do a lot worse.

The light isn’t super powerful but it’s super versatile. Works well to illuminate close objects. I find myself also using it as a light for tight spaces. Could be cheaper for what it is but still a great addition to the kit.

This product is great for what they say it is. It works with GoPro mounts but was hoping to use it on other cameras but the hot shoe mount is too thin to stay in my other hot shoes (including aftermarket GoPro cases). I’m still using it but need to use a GoPro mount between the light and camera.
For the size of this light, it gives out great output and the battery life is pretty amazing.

It is a little overpriced but considering the build quality and the way it has worked flawlessly for me so far, I can certainly recommend this mini light.
If you’re looking for the brightest light in the smallest possible package, this is it!
🚨Notes To GoPro🚨 If you’re reading this, please consider these suggestions for future iterations of this product to make it more versatile:
1️⃣ Incorporate a standard 1/4” thread to the bottom of the mount. 2️⃣ Add a magnet to the back of this light💡🧲

Firstly, it does the job of lighting things up with 4 light settings. You won’t find a brighter light for the size (or even double the size like the Ulanzi). If you are using it with the official media mod, this is the light to get.
If you want to use it with a standard shoe, it won’t fit snugly without a little help. I took a star off for this issue that they don’t make very clear. It can slide into a standard shoe but there’s nothing to hold it in place so it can slide out just as easily. There’s 2 solutions: 1, wedge a piece of something into the shoe along with the light mod to fill the gap to wedge it in place; or 2, attach the light to the included finger mount then to a shoe mount with finger mount attachments then the finger mounts together.
TLDR: get this if using official media mod, get the cheaper one if using a cage with a standard shoe.
