This computer is compact but a real powerhouse for game play and other video/graphical arts. Surprisingly quiet, the system (and it’s Windows 11 Operating system) are easy to start up.

One catch though: Use the electrical cord that comes with the new computer. The older ones don’t seem to provide enough power to the newer machine. I’m not big on electricity so I don’t know what the deal is with the cords. All I know is the new comp wouldn’t work with the old cord.

Otherwise, it’s a great little computer. And worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Original review was really anger filled… things have changed. It crashed within 20 minutes of firing it up. I ended up getting a fresh windows loaded through USB and even though all the included software was gone, it’s running decent now. Then after a lot of work getting it to take a new install, which was harder than it should have been, I finally fired up a game and it wouldn’t play, I checked the system info and did a “will it play” detector and both said the 8gb ram GPU only had 1gb…
Oh I was mad, and fired off a 1 star review.

Then I checked every driver, and loaded every companion software for the GPU, and it still says 1 gig on system info and the will it play, but CPUID says 8gigs and it plays games now, so I brought up the review.

But what if someone not slightly computer savvy bought it? I’ve read all the horror stories of trying to return it… I’m glad I don’t have to right now.

In the description, it says 1T SSD but my tower only has 476GB ?? I paid over 1k for this computer expecting 1TB of storage but received less than half of what was included.

  4. Jake

    fast, reliable, simply great.

  5. richard warren

I bought this desktop computer to play world of warcraft online.
It’s fast, has a lot of memory!

  6. Austin

This case only has a few fans. I’ve had problems with it nearly over heating any time I open a game. You’re best off buying a new case with this. Also, while you’re at it, go ahead and get more ram too. You’ll thank me later 😉

  7. William R McIntosh

This computer was easy to set up and get all my files transferred over. When downloading a large game it took minutes where in the past it would take hours. This is a quiet machine and so far exceeds my expectations. The only thing I did not care for was the green light at the base of the case but there was a setting to turn this off. it handles all of my work load and the graphics have made my gaming much more enjoyable.

I needed to replace my computer with a better gaming computer with specific requirements.
I wanted a higher end machine, ray traced graphics card with 8gb+ memory, 16gb+ computer memory, WIN 11 PRO, 512gb+ ssd drive with the capability of adding a 2nd hard disk.

    This machine :
    HP Pav Gaming Desktop TG01-2176z PC, {HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphic, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, Windows 11 Pro (TG01-2460, shadow black}
was advertised with an AMD 3.8, Geforce RTX 2060Super w/8gb ram, 16gb computer memory, and 1TB SSD drive.

All but the graphics card matches up. They didn’t give me the RTX 2060 (couldn’t afford a 3060 card).

Instead, they gave me the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 w/12gb ram! 😉

Not sure what caused that hick-up, but I’m not going to complain and I’m sure the vendor expected these things to happen (updated computers, but not updating Amazon list, etc.. ).

I’d call this a mini-tower. AMAZING on how small the motherboard is! I used to build PC’s in the older days (when IBM 1st came out with their IBM PC Floppy disk computer).

    I’m a happy camper!
