My new video card only has one HDMI port so I was in need of an adapter to convert one of the displayport outputs. This displayport to HDMI adapter is just what I needed. I use one of my monitors for a couple of computers, a security system and as a TV which I run all through an HDMI switch. I needed to convert my computer’s displayport output to HDMI so it could work through the same HDMI switch. This adapter has worked flawlessly. It is very well made with metal ends and a braided cord.

Have too many display port connections and not enough HDMI? This is a great way to solve that problem.
My GPU has 3 Display Ports and 1 HDMI. My VR headset needs an HDMI port, and I multiple monitors, a couple with DP and one with HDMI. This little adapter solves my problem.

I recently purchased a PC tower, the description state it had an HDMI port. Ok cool, exactly what I need. I just opened the PC, to install it in my home office, and was surprised to see there was no HDMI port. I did see two display port slots, they were useless to me.
This affordable adapter was an easy fix to my problem. I can see the display on my TV/Monitor without any problems. It’s made out of good material, I don’t see this ripping apart any time soon. There’s nothing else for me to say, if you’ve been searching for a a display port to HDMI adapter, then don’t hesitate — add it to your cart.

Like most video cards, my video card has only 1 HDMI output and 3 DisplayPort outputs. I have tons of HDMI cables I’ve accumulated throughout the years, but no DisplayPort cables, so rather than buy expensive DisplayPort cables and have yet more cables, I’ll use the HDMI cables I have with this adapter. It works perfectly and I do not encounter any degradation/discoloring, flickering, or black screening. It’s compact and I’m able to run my cables efficiently. It’s a great little adapter.

This thing does exactly as it says and makes it easy to connect an old monitor to a HDMI and there you go. I recommend this product simply because it was so simple to plug and play. Literally I did nothing else but plug two cords in and it worked.

This simply works great! I love the weave pattern for the cord, it looks really nice and seems highly durable. The whole adapter exudes quality. The ends are aluminum. The Display Port end does not have the locking tabs that some display port plugs do, the kind which must be pressed to unlock and also you to pull the plug out of the computer. I much prefer the non-locking plug.
I would not hesitate to purchase this.
