I had a hard time finding Display port cables at any local store. I bought these thinking they were going to be some basic/cheap cables just to get the job done. I was totally wrong. They have a very nice braided cable and strong ends. This is now my “Go To” brand if I need any cables in the future.

Usaba el cable que venia con mi monitor pero era demasiado corto ya que le compre un soporte como brazo ajustable e impedia le moviemiento y tenia que tener el cpu en cierta posicion para que llegara hasta el monitor, el cable se siente de excelente calidad y viene excelentemente empacado, si volveria a comprar.

Found this brand on here and ever since they are the ones I order cords from, I love these display port cords bought this one because i thought the one i had for about a year was bad nope. just old pc… new pc boots dp, ect these are great products love them now i have two. though new one i like more because its a bit thiner and has the nice DP4k logo on it.

It works without any issues. Its 1.2 so if you need a 1.4 see newer model. It fits snugly into both the video card port and the monitor port without those bothersome locks. (Try to detach one after it locks – the struggle of tge century). The big issue with a dp cable is pin 20. If your video card was introduced before 2017 (5 years) an active pin 20 will prevent your monitor from recognizing your video card because of power feedback. You need to shut iff monitor then restart. Inconvenient not mention potentially damaging to your monitor. This ivanky cable is Definitely not active on pin 20 preventing that issue. This fact is contrary to other reviews, published on the ivanky website. My actusl use confirms that. Also this cable has aluminum end caps. Another review has stated that it gets hot. I can only assume that reviewer has other system issues because it does not get hot. I believe these 2 features were important to mention as other mis-information might alter a shoppers opinion. So if you need an inactive pin 20, a 1.2 standard, and a reliable safe product this will work nicely.

Hola bandita, este asunto es fácil, si necesitas un display port este es bueno, trata de agarrarlo en oferta, sino lo esta, busca uno que si, nada de las mejoras que dicen tener los cables marca una diferencia real de imagen, solo quiza un cable reforzado pueda ayudar a la duración, de ahi enfuera vayan por el que se acomode a su presupuesto sin miedo

Estaba trabajando muy bien el cable, empezó a parpadear mi monitor y de repente de quedaba en negro la pantalla, pensé que eran drivers o alguna actualización, probé de todo pero el problema continuaba, después probé con el cable de fábrica y el monitor trabajaba bien a 165hz, volví a probar este cable en otro monitor a 165hz también y lo mismo, parpadeos y pantallas negras por unos segundos. Se veía bien este cable pero parece que no soporta tazas de refresco muy altas. No lo recomiendo, lamentablemente tiré el empaque por lo que no podré devolverlo.

Cuando lo compré lo estuve utilizando muy bien los primeros días, pero después empezó a tener una especie de flickering muy raro, y muy frecuente cuando entro a juegos la pantalla se queda completamente en negro, como si perdiera la señal, lo utilizo en un monitor 1080p 144hz con freesync, probé con HDMI y funciona perfecto, solo pasa con este cable, muy decepcionado, me encanto la calidad de la que se ve el cable pero parece que no funciona igual de bien a como se ve

I bought it in order to extend WD19TB cord. Unfortunately, it does not handle an external display connected to WD19TB via DisplayPort if I use it.
Nevertheless, it’s a well-built, good-feeling extension cord, and I will not return it.
