  1. Cardo

    Pros:

    -multiple compartments
    -premium feel
-case can close with 3rd party cases on the deck
-zippers feel durable and open/close smoothly
-soft to touch outer shell that retains a rugged shape for impacts
    -charging cable access hole
-straps for holding down a portable battery or external drive.

    Cons:

-the biggest compartment could use some dividers to keep small things from moving around and scratching eachother. If the walls were velcro friendly, I could have used some dividers that I already have but they do not stick to the inside walls unfortunately.

That is honeslty the only con I see, everything else makes it worth the purchase.

One thing to mention, but its not really a con (see photo): if you have a 3rd party case on your deck, the screen protector flap will bend a little. This may bother someone with OCD but it doesnt bother me.

I really like this case. It’s perfect for extra deck stuff like keyboard, mouse, Ethernet cable, SD card slots and power supply. I usually have to carry an extra bag with the case it came with but now I only need this case. I do not regret this buy. Case feels good also. I totally recommend it.

While using it I don’t feel completely comfortable leaving my Deck plugged in to a pocket charger, the reason being because there is enough room to plug it in but at the detriment of bending the wire at the plug end. When zipping it up the zippers run smoothly on the straight edges, the corners are a bit less so because the internal divider edges out *just* enough to have to put a bit of force into closing it. I don’t have many cons overall. So far, for a gen 1 Steam case I really like it.

    This case is amazing.
It holds my deck stable and secure while giving me enough storage for a dock (after market), a trackball charging cords, and headphones… With extra room.
The only thing I cannot fit is my blue tooth keyboard but it’s the Logitech K480 and I don’t want a steam deck case big enough for that keyboard. A smaller keyboard or a folding one would fit great.
It appears to not want to close right but it’s the way the inner flap that holds stuff in the top is designed… it does not “close” easy without anything in it. I think this is to pinch that flap so it cannot flop around and spill stuff when the case is closed.
This is a very sturdy, very roomy, very nice case.
Only “con” I have found is the truth of the comment about dividers in the top, stuff does rattle around up there a bit and padded dividers would help. I have been pondering printing something on my 3D printer but not sure what would work/help.

I cannot complain. I was very picky on the selection of cases available the other night for my SteamDeck. I wanted space to store a charger, my cables, and maybe a dock. I was hesitant because this case had no reviews and I didn’t see any press on it. I liked the images but had questions and some hesitation, but I pulled the trigger. It was well worth the risky purchase.

I was amazed by the size of the case, and then when I found out I could fit a controller in it, I was happy. However if I had to criticize or make a suggestion on the next batch: maybe make a modification so the Xbox controllers’ thumbsticks have some clearance, if possible. It works but the Velcro that secures the top storage compartment isn’t completely flush when a controller is inside.

Now I’m going to get one of those folding keyboards and toss in my Anker Dongle Hub Dock, and I’ll be all set. I think there’s enough space to put a proper stand or docking stand in the storage compartment too. This thing can fit just about anything you should need in it.

So this is the case I have been looking for. This case has space for everything I wanted to carry and more. The outside is not as padded as the original case but that’s OK because they use the storage spaces as an air buffer between the outside and the SD. I can carry everything with me that I wanted and more. In fact I can carry a small air mouse, foldable keyboard, 20000mah battery bank and even a full ps4 controller with even more space for other smaller items. The cable passthrough works great and you can charge your device inside the case without issue. This thi g checks all the boxes for me and I am very happy with it.

Overall very good quality with a lot of benefits over other cases. However, when trying to transport my Xbox 1 pc controller, the lid presses down clicking in both thumbsticks. I’m sure that over a period of time that will affect the controller, but that’s my only complaint.
