Like some other reviews I had trouble redeeming one of the song codes, but a quick email to customer support of the game (replied in under 24hrs) and they gave me instructions on how to correct the matter. It seems the installation gets stuck sometimes. Here is what you do…
-In My games & apps, highlight a game (but don’t select it).
-Press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game and Add-ons.
-Select the game tile, and then select each checkbox for which items you want to install.
-Select Install, to confirm the installation

The free songs code in box doesn’t work (and many others have this same issue), the song library is VERY limited, and you can’t play the full game unless you subscribe to VIP. This was a gift for my 9 year old but we are both very disappointed.

my daughter can’t play the single player mode because i can’t find the key for the free song pack – maybe i used it under a different account and tossed it.
why on this Earth do customers have to activate a “free” song pack? can it not just activate itself since i bought the game? how does this make any sense?

It’s a really fun game, only problem is that I tried to redeem a code and it said I did already even though I just opened it up from the box. But overall I love them game just wish I could get the rest of the songs like I’m suppose to.

Comes with a “free month” of VIP pass songs which was considered redeemed when entered but never registered to my account. I also tried to purchase the VIP pack but the game froze and crashed. After a week one of the microphones stopped working. So when it worked it was a lot of fun, which is why it earns a 2. Otherwise it’s so extremely glitchy that it stops and ruins gameplay, and almost not worth the effort to restart it constantly.
