This devices works with Rogers’ 5G service, together with WiFi calling and VoLTE 🙂 Love it 🙂

    – very fast and smooth UI for a midranger
    – batter life is somewhat disappointing

  2. Realtor by Choice

Love the display and how light the phone is. It is not a speed demon, but it handles all tasks flawlessly without stutter. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage are fabulous, as I use it a lot for music and photos. The committed major upgrades is what convinced me purchase this, as I know I’ll consistently have the newest software on the phone. Overall a great experience. Oh, and I’ve also purchased the Edge+ 2022, a much faster beast for the more demanding tasks that I never perform anyway.

  3. Amazon Customer

Very strong antennas, picks up wifi signals, and T-Mobile’s 5g signals very good where we live.

I got this phone hoping for a better battery life and I find myself having to charge it by mid day or risk not making it till the end of the day.
The camera is ok but wide angle falls short.

I have been a Motorola fan for a long time. This review is for those who want this phone is to read news, pay bills, do all work related things, very minimal social media interaction etc. I am not an Instagram or gaming person. For my needs this phone worked like a charm. I have used this phone on my business trips across multiple continents and this phone has worked very well. Based on my usage, it has a very good battery life. Great part of the phone is its nice and sleek compared to earlier Z3 model that I had.
    I highly recommend this phone.

Still getting the phone setup but am noticing that the “2 day battery” drains fast. The phone looks & feels great. But even as I’m typing this with the phone plugged in I noticed the battery percentage drop from 97% to now 95%. I also saw that the wireless charging was having trouble. I have a charging battery that works great on my wife’s iPhone 8. But this phone seemed to flake and had trouble staying engaged to charge. It rapidly toggled between charging and not charging. So definitely something is not quite right with this battery situation.

UPDATE: I contacted Motorola directly about the battery issue. They had me run a couple of tests and forced some updates then had me reboot the phone a couple of times. That seemed to resolve the “quick battery drain while plugged in” problem. Every now and then I’ll see the power draining but I use a 3rd-party app killer app that seems to resolve it. But since then, it’s been much better. The phone is fast and 5G is working great on AT&T prepaid. So I will change my review from 2 stars to 4 stars based on that. If they can dial this battery thing in and truly make it a 2 day battery I’ll give it the 5 stars.

This phone has an amazing screen the camera and battery are both solid. The phone is not too big like some of the other models out there that are as big as a kitchen floor tile. This phone is thin and light. The best thing however is the Mediatek Dimensity 1050 chip. It is just as fast, if not faster than my wife’s Tensor chip in her Pixel 6A. The screen is also much more vibrant. The Dimensity chip never lags (yet) and the phone does not get as hot as others that I have used at an even higher price range. Great job Motorola!!

Coming from a s22 ultra, I was expecting to be let down by this phone, I was wrong. I’ve only had this day for 4 days, and I’m already glad I switched. Even though it is only 4 days, the phone has gotten a hold of my usage and I’m already getting close to that 2 day battery claim, and will definitely get there as it learns even more. My usage is mostly video streaming with light gaming and messaging, with around 8 to 10 hrs screen on time. The screen is beautiful and does switch automatically between 60-90-120fps, I haven’t seen it push to 144 yet, but I haven’t made it do it either as the auto switch to 120 is smooth enough that I can’t notice it. I love this phone so far, and now promised 3 years of OS updates with 4 years of security makes it a easy thing for to hold onto for years. Thankfully Motorola offers an official case for this device because the other ones were meh at best. I would avoid the cloth case they offer and only stick to the soft protective ones, as the cloth one kept pushing the volume up button. The only other slight negative is that it was compared to my old s22 utlra so I don’t have the 10x zoom anymore. Other than missing that, with a least decent light I got amazing shots with the phone. The ultra wide was good as well, and it even doubles as a macro lens which I love as a feature. And the main reason why I switched to this phone in the first place was for the moto actions like chop to flashlight and twist to camera, I missed then so much I wanted to get that back, and thankfully the phone it’s attached to is actually a really good one to boot. I will update this review if any issues arise or if battery life majorly improves/decreases
