The phone software is fast. Battery life is good. Quick charging. It actually comes with a charging brick. It has a headphone jack. Clean version of Android. No Bloatware. It has NFC. Shipping was quick. The screen at certain angels can look dark and a bit washed out. Quality control? The one I received had the right side of the screen popping off. Didn’t notice it till I used it outside in the dark and saw the light bleed through the side. I returned it. The phone looks nice. It’s a bit slippery.

Very responsive screen especially with the 90hz display. High resolution and visibility in the sunlight. Battery will easily power threw the day and fast charging capability is great . Finger print reader and face recognition is about 90% accurate whick is great . The 5g connective does cut in and out due to signal issues I recommend leaving it in 4glte which you can adjust in the settings menu . Definitely for the cost and value of what this phone provides it’s a great value . If you need great alternative to the high end overpriced pjones lol no further grab one of these .

The phone is very responsive no lagging so far the fingerprint reader is super fast and accurate. However the facial recognition could use a little work. The cameras are mid-range, I found the best setting was the 2K@ 30 frames a second, I would use a stand or some sort of stabilizing device as the image stabilization isn’t the best. However all in all very nice phone I would definitely recommend.

Ok let start by the reason why I bought this phone is that want to leave my iPhone 13 pro as a backup phone. The phone is good not the best but good. This phone only works for T-Mobile not AT&T or Verizon because of their network brand. Now if you looking at a unlock phone, please check your network bands type on google both 5g and 4glite. Now the is good for small task like browsing the internet or checking emails, the camera is ok not best but it ok. The only thing is that 18w charge may heat the phone a bit but only passing 80% it cool, I would recommend a 10w charger or lower so that I will not heat and last longer the battery. so far I have no issues whatsoever, if you are not a heavy user the battery last 3 to 4 days.

Phone seemed to work perfectly fine. I was able to transfer all my data from the Samsung Galaxy S10 without a hitch and the phone seemed on part with much more expensive models. However, despite it being unlocked, T-Mobile (formerly Sprint) did not let me activate it and I had to send it back. Bummer! Please check with your provider to make sure it’s compatible before ordering.

The biggest selling point on this phone was the 48MP rear camera. We shoot a lot of pictures, for Vine reviews, to document settings for later, and the obvious sharing excellent photos with friends.
The day it arrived, we started playing with it, doing extreme closeups of one of our cat’s fur. Just a cute silly test, which requires no effort to set up. They came out poorly.
We decided to set up a fair shooting comparison, using the Nuu B20 and Pixel 4A 5G (released November 2020). The advertised resolution on the rear is 12.2 MP to 16MP, depending on which lens is being used.
We set the Nuu B20 to 48MP. The Pixel 4A 5G To “high resolution” We also have the efficient storage set on the Pixel, which reduces size with minimal quality degradation. We basically handicapped the Pixel, while using the best settings for the Nuu B20.
The results on the Nuu B20 were poor at best.
The Nuu B20 pictures were 8000×6000(48MP), 3264×2448 (8MP) or 2560×1440(3.7MP)
The Pixel 4A 5G pictures were 4032×2268(9.1MP) and 3264×1836(6PM)
You can see the side by side pictures. The Nuu B20 is on the left. The PIxel 4A 5G is on the right.
This may not seem to make a lot of sense, but the problem is pretty obvious. The picture size doesn’t really matter. A 10x10px photo can be extrapolated to 8000×6000, it will still only have what the original photo had, with scaling artifacts. It looks like the Nuu camera is probably shooting around 6MP, and then extrapolating it to 48MP. That’s really only done to sell people on the amazing resolution, that is only provided in a technicality, not the expected quality.
It looks like they included their own camera, and not the standard camera app, so it would report 48MP, instead of 6MP.
It does have a front facing camera also. it’s nested within the display, so there’s a tiny spot in the display, rather than the big ugly notch or just dead space.
The selfie camera quality appears better, but I didn’t do the extensive testing like I did with the rear camera. But the quality still doesn’t compare to the now dated Pixel 4A 5G.
We also used a couple of apps that would read and list the camera specs: Screenshots provided.
The main camera thing was the biggest selling point for us, so that’s why I wrote so much about it. I was really excited to have a crazy high resolution camera for doing other things, like astronomy with our telescope, and better photos at events.
Beyond the camera, the phone is fine. It looks like it’s otherwise the stock AOSP Android. It does all the phone things perfectly well. It was trivial to transfer everything from the old phone, to the new phone, over USB-C. That’s all Android’s stuff, so it should just work for everyone. I know sometimes vendors start tweaking things, and cause all kinds of bugs. With this phone, it looks like you have all the good stable stuff. … except for the camera.
It feels like a good phone. it’s heavy enough to know that there’s stuff in it, without being too heavy. The screen is clear and bright. The screen was perfectly responsive (touches did touch things, without poking twice).
It only has one speaker, down on the bottom by the USB-C port. So it can’t do stereo, but there really isn’t enough room on any phone to separate the sound sources. They’re both in front of you. The speaker sound isn’t great, but it isn’t a show stopper. If you want good sound, plug in your headphones or earbuds. It has a real headphone jack on the bottom, beside the USB-C port. The side opposite the speaker.
Using it like a telephone (imagine that), the call sound quality was fine.
This phone does have a fingerprint scanner, so you can use all the services that use biometrics. I really like that. It can be a little finicky in our testing, but it’s still there. It is at the power button, it doesn’t have a separate dedicated spot, and it doesn’t require the huge hole in the back of your case, like the Pixel 4A 5G has.

I was nervous about buying a phone other than Samsung. But I took a chance and so far I haven’t had a problem and am happy with the phone. There’s a couple of things I would like to find out about it, bc I got stuck wanting to do something that I don’t normally do on it. So yes it is a good phone and I like it very well.
