I am very pleased with the PlayStation 2 (Renewed) I received. Overall, the gaming console is in excellent condition, only minor surface scratches which does not detract from the nice gaming console it is. It arrived clean and works well and I’m having a blast with the games I had already from owning the original PS2 which was a thicker version….I like this slim design better. No problems with the disc drive reading or with the graphics in playing the games. I give this purchase a 10 out of 10 and I’m completely satisfied and happy!

I was a little leery about buying a refurbished gaming system, because you see 9 out of 10 reviews are glowing, but you focus on that one review. The system was wrapped up nice and secure, so much so that I believe you could drop it from a thousand feet in the air and it would be okay. The cords and controller were wrapped and zip tied nicely. The system itself started up just as if I had gone back in time to the early 2000’s. One bonus I feel obligated to mention is it came with 3 games that I did not order and did not expect. This was a nice touch. 10/10 would definitely buy from this seller a second time

To begin with, I was a tad nervous after reading some of the 1 or 3-star reviews with damage or even dead roaches or bugs inside the player. However, because of the pandemic and the difficulty in acquiring a PS5, I’ve been rediscovering an appreciation for my older PS2 titles and took the chance since a majority of the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. I gave away my PS2 slim to my 7 year-old nephew at the time a little over a decade ago. I also gave away or donated most of my games to my nephew or orphanages, but I kept a few that I loved in storage. My product arrived a day before the expected arrival, and man, I forgot how small the PS2 slim model was! Mine works perfectly and there was no damage or anything. VERY MINOR scratch on the top of the player, but other than that, nothing was compromised. I unearthed my old PS2 games I kept and been enjoying those all over again, especially ones that I know will likely never be ported over digitally (or never remastered) to the newer generation consoles. If you have the extra buying power, then I HIGHLY recommend this. I’d also recommend buying a couple of memory cards, an extra controller (if you like) and the PS2 HDMI converter/adapter in case your TVs don’t support those classic, colored, Audio-Video (AV) component cables. So I purchased that too separately to enjoy my games with an HD experience! Thank you! It’s been the best!

Overall pleased with the condition of the PlayStation however the remote constantly needs to be unplugged and plugged back in for it to work. Makes navigating and playing games pretty hard. I even lost my progress after playing “Godfather” for a hour and a half because I unplugged the remote which then tugged a little too hard on power cord. A little disappointed but the actual console is great so far.
