  1. Russ

I’ve always liked Razer products, my last gaming mouse has lasted for 20+ years and is still going but I thought I’d treat myself.
This is not the latest or best from Razer but it is very good and being a lefty it suits me nicely

Warning getting the DeathAdder series you do have to remember with size comes weight use viper for better gaming but i have big hands and i use a controller so this is a beautiful only $17.71 mouse.

  3. Amazon Customer

I didn’t really dislike anything about the mouse, it is perfect for gaming, or working and is very comfortable to use for long periods of time.

Perfect mouse for my black and green Razer setup. I like wired mice more than bluetooth so this was a must for me. Love it!

I’ve had 3 of these over the last year and each time the scroll wheel has failed within around 4 weeks of buying them, dont buy this chinese rubbish. Combaterwing’s used to be good but i think they stopped making them.

this mouse is really big for my hands, for reference i am 5’0…i should’ve gotten the mini🥲 it’s cute tho!

  7. Paul

I personally love this mouse. It’s simple not to many buttons and everything is easily accessed. I personally don’t like mice with all those extra buttons as I found too many buttons mean too many mistakes. This mouse is perfect and I also love that it’s wired

If you scroll too fast it registers in the opposite direction and it’s unusable. This is my third Deathadder and I won’t be getting another. The cheapening of it is apparent in it the base mode no longer having a braided cable. Having to log into Razers service to use the dpi settings is also an odd – it’s effectively live service hardware and you have no say if or when it will no longer work.

Apart from that is a good gaming mouse.

  9. Bethany Siau

Ugh. I loved this mouse. It looks and feels great. A couple of months ago the scroll wheel started to jump when I use it. It’s a new mouse so it shouldn’t have any issues yet, but I looked it up and I guess this is a normal problem for this mouse. I did the settings trick: control panel > mouse > wheel > one page at a time. This helped a little but it still jumps up and down. I would rather not open my mouse up to try to fix it but I think that’s where I’m at :/

  10. Jaxon Tee Sy

Got this on Cyber Monday for $20.

As someone who has a smaller hand size, its a bit uncomfortable but nothing I can’t get used to later. It is definitely worth it, especially if it is on sale! It’s a mouse that does its job well, can’t ask for anything else.

  11. Jaeden Henson

This mouse was to add to my gaming setup since I already copped the Blackwidow V3 Tenkeyless, compared to other Razer products, it is not the best. It feels kind of cheap compared to their keyboards, not as clean of a design. Does not contain RGB controls, however you are allowed to set a breathing or static mode in Synapse, control brightness.

  12. Billy O’Rourke

I came to this mouse after my old Deathadder Chroma died because I really loved the design and ergonomics of it. At first, the Essential worked fine, but eventually the scroll wheel began to jitter really badly. Now it’s just become very annoying to use. I’d say go with the more expensive options.

  13. KrAv3

What is there to say? It is the tried and tested Death Adder mouse. Been using a version of this mouse for over a decade (15 years to be exact – before RGB existed) and it is still the same, great feeling, and accurate mouse but with better switches (for those that remember the old Razer double ghost click issues from back in the day). There is a reason this is the all time best selling mouse.
