I ended up buying 4 of these head lamps.Once my family saw mine they were so impressed with the brightness and 5 modes of use it was obvious if I wanted to keep mine, I needed to get them each their own. This thing is so handy for a number of things. Oddly I bought mine so I could see inside my cat’s ears to clean out the wax, perfect for that. Also a big help threading needles, taking the dog out at night to potty one night saw two coyote 25 yards away run away when they saw my head lamp on the brightest. My eyes are 76 years old, I need all the help I can get, love this thing!

Haven’t figured out the motion detection part yet but I’ve used both headlamps for several
Hours and a couple of charges each. So far battery life it really good. I got over 2 hrs of light every time. The charge fast. The led strip is bright and very easy to work with. This will not be the last pair of headlamps I buy like this. Convenient and comfortable. Good buy!

Okay, I have been using headlamps for decades now. There’s no doubt that LEDs are so much Superior then any other type of halogen bulb or equivalent. The LED will defrag the light; meaning it will disperse light all over the place. Extremely bright! I work in crawl spaces, places where we have no power. I work fire and water damage work. This headlamp folds up quite nicely and fits in your pocket when not in use. It does not bulge out or poke.
This headlamp will comfortably fit around a baseball cap, if that’s what you happen to be wearing. Or, just around your head very comfortably. It does have on the side a light that is Led, but Direct like a flashlight. I personally have no use for that, but it is a good option, maybe I haven’t come across the situation where I would need that. It is rechargeable which is great! It’s got three settings for brightness if I know I’m going to be in a place without charging it for a while. I’ll put it on the second setting which is still bright enough. That’ll give you about 3 hours of light. On the highest setting you’re looking at an hour and a half. The LEDs will not go dim the battery will just stop working before that will happen. This is an awesome headlamp, and I highly recommend it! I hope this helps… I have to add that; it is revolutionary compared to any other headlamp.

I bought these for several uses. I want to use one while grilling/smoking as well as to have in our cars for emergencies. This headlamp is bright and comfortable and served its first purpose when I grilled out in the dark yesterday. I also used it when I brought out the trash last night. Much better than a flashlight! It really helped in both cases. I’m not sure I have any real use for the focused side beam but it is there if I need it. I tried the motion sensor feature and it worked ok. Again, this is not something I plan to use but it is easy to turn off and it is there if I want to use it. Since I don’t plan on using these daily I hope that they hold up. I plan to buy more of these as I gave my son one and need some more. I will and would buy it again

They charge in no time, are extremely convenient. they are enough to blind someone staring at you. I used them for the first time surf fishing at night.. It was cold, so having the wave on an off feature was perfect. 2nd time my son and I worked on his jeep at night, and everything we stared at was insanely bright. for the cost, you cannot go wrong. best headlamp I have ever owned, and I have paid 3 times the cost on some.

This is a great head lamp and at this price it’s an exceptional value but what put it over the top for me was the excellent customer service provided by Carol at Janet-US. I liked this item from the moment I received it and got great use out of it. However, after a few months it suffered some wear and tear outside of what would normally be expected from regular use that prevented its continued use . I was up front about the fact that I did use it regularly when I contacted Janet US to see if there was anything that could be done or any recommendations they could give me in order to fix the issue myself because I had tried several times and failed (The strip COB light became separated from the strap / headlamp housing and I wasn’t aware prior but it turns out that attaching silicone to silicone is very difficult and not for the faint of heart; I tried reattaching it with hot glue, fabric glue and Gorilla Glue and none of them worked. The Gorilla Glue worked the best but it’s really hard and chunky (for lack of a better way to describe it) when it cures and this is not at all ideal for something you need to wear on your head for long periods of time). Carol not only immediately resolved the issue for me in a beyond satisfactory manner but also made it clear that she would be forwarding the details & photos I had sent her that highlighted the points of failure with my unit to the company so that changes could be implemented/improvements made to future models/batches.
Note: It’s possible that the issue was isolated and that sweeping changes wouldn’t need to be made, but that’s for them to determine. Regardless, it’s nice to know that you’re actually being heard and taken seriously and that they’re not just looking to placate customers’ concerns as they crop up but truly trying to be proactive/prevent them from occurring in the first place.
Highly recommended not just for the quality of the product, but for the support you’re sure to get if and when the need arises.

Really handy and the design is good. I’ve ordered three of these and all work as expected.
The type of LED allows the headband to be completely flexible, so it conforms to the shape of the forehead. The hands-free light appears to be everywhere, because everything is well-illuminated as you turn your head. The only thing I can say negative is, the neoprene-like band causes the forehead to sweat. A layer of felt in the front might reduce or eliminate that. I might glue some in. Otherwise, great.
Unsure how many charging cycles before the battery starts to fail, as I’ve only had them a month. Great for walking the dog at night. I put a couple in cars for under hood work, day or night. I would say buy with confidence, at this point.
