Best Samsung Galaxy A14 Review: Budget-Friendly Phone with Some Compromises

Samsung Galaxy A14

The Samsung Galaxy A14 is a budget-friendly smartphone that was released in October 2023. It has a 6.5-inch LCD display, a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, and a triple-lens rear camera. Let’s take a closer look at what this phone has to offer.

Design and Build

The Galaxy A14 has a sleek plastic body that comes in blue, gray, or black. It’s a lightweight phone, weighing just 193 grams. It’s also 8.0mm thick, which is a bit slimmer than many other smartphones in its price range.

The Galaxy A14’s display is a 6.5-inch LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It’s a bright and clear display, but it’s not the most precise on the market.

The Galaxy A14 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It’s a mid-range processor that provides good performance for most everyday tasks. However, it can be a bit slow if you’re running resource-intensive applications or games.

The Galaxy A14 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card.

The Galaxy A14’s rear camera has three lenses: a 50MP main lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens. The main camera takes good photos in good lighting, but they can be blurry in low light. The macro lens is useful for taking close-up photos, while the depth lens is useful for creating bokeh effects.

The Galaxy A14’s front-facing camera is 8MP. It takes good selfies in good lighting, but they can be blurry in low light.

The Galaxy A14 has a 5000mAh battery. This battery provides long battery life, up to two days of normal use.

The Galaxy A14 starts at $179.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A14 is a good budget-friendly smartphone. It offers good performance, long battery life, and a decent camera. However, the display is not the most precise, and the processor can be a bit slow in some applications and games.

If you’re looking for an affordable smartphone that offers good performance and long battery life, the Galaxy A14 is a good option. However, if you’re looking for a smartphone with a high-resolution display or powerful processor, there are better options on the market.

Had some trouble switching the sim card with T-Mobile, but a new sim card took care of that. Phone works great and looks great with the phone cover.

its honestly a good phone, the display looks hella good and just a overall good feeling especially with the case its comes with, its also on the “mid range” side when it comes the processor or “chip” it has, but for the price how can I even complain.
