Llegó en perfectas condiciones y parece funcionar correctamente.

So, I knew this was specifically for a switch, but because it was nintendo branded, I assumed it’d also be pre-formatted for other nintendo consoles.
It comes in exfat format, which is great for the switch, and with a cursory check of reddit, it seemed that the n3ds could use that format for larger cards.
It cannot, it still has to use fat32, but thanfully with another reddit search and rufus, I was able to reformat it beautifully, and get it to work on other nintendo consoles.
I’m sure I paid an upcharge for the nintendo branding, but I like having a big SD card and one that makes it obvious that it has games on it, as well as the gurantee it’s the size it says it is, and isn’t a rip off microsd that is using a capacity scam.

5/5 because while it didn’t work immediately for my 3ds, it is marketed for switch, and formatted and ran beautifully once I did 30 seconds of googling. It’s a nice microsd card with large capacity and a cute design, so I can’t go wrong.

The micro SD card works perfectly. I’m using it with a Nintendo Switch Lite for extra storage. All I had to do was update some software when I used it for the first time, and it was good to go. Fair price considering the storage capacity. Readability seems great so far, so I would recommend this to anyone looking for some extra storage for their games.

  4. Anna

Great cards! Despite the Nintendo branding, they will still work with other consoles outside of the Switch. I use these cards on a few Android console devices and all of my Raspberry Pis running retropie. Great quality cards that never fail and reliably hold my game data. Highly recommend!

  5. Andrew K

The 128GB microSDXC card works perfectly well without any need for formatting.

Buying other microSD cards means I may have to format it, and there are sometimes a chance it is not recognized. This being a nintendo licensed product I felt it would work seamlessly without having to worry about compatibility issues. When I plugged it in, it certainly worked perfectly and at a high speed.

I often forget I even have it installed because it treats the expansion memory really as additional on board memory without slowing down to change drives.

It’s not much more expensive than other SD cards, so for ease of use I would recommend this drive.
