Overall not a bad case, its comfortable and looks neat. but just few issues: 1: the joystick cap is useless, very easy to come off 2: the case kinds of block L1 and R1 a bit.
the thing i liked lot is the that you can just stand Steam deck with this case without extra stand piece.

Sleeve fits perfectly and allows for a tempered glass screen protector. Grip texture feels nice. The joystick covers add some considerable value as well. They’re a little too easy to remove, but the larger size of the two increases stick height significantly and makes it easier to make more precise and accurate movements. Kinda like cheap KontrolFreeks. The rubber sleeve does not get in the way of pressing any buttons in my experience. The cutouts on the back are a little goofy, too, but that’s easy to forgive.

My son got a steam deck for Christmas and we needed something to help protect it; and got this. It slips on easily and fits snug. The material is easy to hold and helps to make the device not so smooth and slippery. The only issue I’ve had is the little rubber knob covers-they seem to fall off frequently; but they aren’t needed so we just stopped putting them back on. The device still fits in the carrying case easily while this protective cover is on it. I recommend this case to anyone who needs one for a steam deck.

This case works well for being a protective case. It’s easy to put on and doesn’t seem to get in the way too much of hitting buttons or triggers. However, it doesn’t hit the mark in the looks department and takes away from how nice the Deck looks without it.
If you just want something that works and protects your Deck, then buy it. If you want your Deck to look cooler, look elsewhere.

For some reason I assumed this would be two pieces, and back–but nope, it’s one piece that fits snugly. They may have improved it after earlier comments, because unlike others, I find it easy to plug in perpendicular and straight charging cables, the thumb caps fit well, and it sits nicely on my iVoler dock. It does make the LB/RB and the AB/XY buttons a little more awkward to press, but I’m not sure how that could have been avoided (tapered cutouts?).
