    This is my third Umidigi phone, so I purchased it with confidence. I have previously used an F1 Play and an A11 Pro. This phone is another worth addition to the Umidigi lineup. I’ve only been using it for a couple of days now, but I am suitably impressed. The phone has specs and performance which you would expect to pay three times the price for.

   The phone came packaged with a cable, a power brick, and a SIM card tool. The power brick is a nice touch, as most of the ‘flagship’ phones no longer include this amenity. The phone also has a pre-installed screen protector and a clear case.

   Setup was easy and all of my existing apps transferred over with no problem. I did use a USB-C to USB-C cable for this, but that type of cable is not included in the package. If you don’t have the cable to connect your old phone directly to the new one, not to worry – you can also transfer the apps over WiFi. I did the transfer, then swapped over my SIM card and Micro-SD card and I was up and running.

   The phone itself is stock Android 12 and has no bloatware installed, which is a huge plus in my book. The specs are listed in the photo of the back of the box attached to this review, so I won’t go into them here. Suffice it to say the phone is plenty powerful enough to do everything I need it to do and more, and I am something of a power user when it comes to tech.

   All in all, you really can’t go wrong with Umidigi and with this phone especially.

   First off had a heck of a time getting it to hook up to my wifi. Kept telling me was connected but no internet. I still tried to open Chrome told me my date and time were wrong so couldn’t do a hand off. Here the date was Nov 2004 and was set to somewhere in Mexico. Once corrected that seemed to fix it that! my old Umidigi was 3 yrs old and the battery was dying. So far so good with getting on US Mobile was a breeze. Will try to update.

   The specs seem good on paper, but it struggles when connected to my car with Google Auto. It’s pretty good otherwise, most applications run with no perf issues.
   The location of the fingerprint reader (part of the on/off button) is uncomfortable – most times I hold it, one of my fingers is there, and the reader tries to decipher it even though I didn’t want that.
   All in all, a mediocre phone that’s somewhat disappointing compared to the older S3Pro. The only reason I replaced the S3 Pro is that Umidigi doesn’t provide any updates for it, so it’s stuck with Android 9.

   I am so very impressed with this phone! I was able to insert my memory chip and SIM chip in with no problem. This phone is Unlocked so my T-Mobile popped right in. No Problem! The phone seems to work very fast and flawless. I can’t believe how beautiful this phone feels, acts, and works. Excellent low light camera! Crystal Clear picture and Videos. I tried it at a concert in low light and it’s unbelievable!! The Quality is really Good! I have Zero complaints! The phone also included a silicone case and screen protector. So that saves me a few bucks too. Nice long cord and charger block is included too.

   Lo tengo en mis manos desde el 11-10-2022; y hoy 11-11-2022 hago mi reseña para compartir mi experiencia.

   Aunque es la primera vez que compro un teléfono con 8GB de RAM, puedo decir que estoy muy complacido con mi compra, ya que mi anterior teléfono tenía 3GB.

   En cuanto al espacio de 128GB, me siento bastante bien y conforme, ya que antes tenía que estar eliminando Apps, Fotos y Videos para tener más espacio disponible.

   Algo que deseaba tener de un teléfono es el puerto Tipo C, ya que es mucho más cómodo y eficiente; y por suerte, ya lo van a estandarizar, por lo que todos los teléfonos del mundo que salgan a partir de ahí lo tendrán.

   El tamaño de la pantalla es excelente, ya que, hace mucho que quería tener un teléfono con una pantalla de más de 6 pulgadas, ya que así todo se ve mucho mejor y ayuda a no forzar tanto la vista.

   Me encanta la idea de que mantenga las actualizaciones al día, así podré sentirme un poco más seguro, además de la optimización del equipo, que siempre viene incluida.

   La cámara de 48 Megapíxeles y el excelente Zoom me tienen complacido; solo que a veces pone las fotos como con ambientes que hacen que no tengan la suficiente nitidez y calidad, pero he notado que lo hace cuando el clima exterior no está normal y soleado. La cámara frontal también está muy bien.

   Ahora puedo jugar mis juegos favoritos con total libertad y movilidad; aunque, hay algunos que siempre exigen más, por lo que, en ése caso, solo me adapto.

   Se siente bastante bien al agarrarlo, ya que es liviano, suave y fino; y aunque el protector es fino y delicado, le puse un PopSocket para poder agarrarlo con mayor comodidad, ya que se me hace difícil usar un teléfono sin ése accesorio.

   Me gusta la idea de que tenga el cristal Gorilla Glass 4; que aunque tengo otros protectores para el teléfono y la pantalla en mi carro de Amazon, me siento un poco confiado de que si se me cae, no se me dañará la pantalla muy fácil; además, me siento tranquilo al poder poner llaves en el bolsillo junto a él, ya que antes tenía que tener cuidado y usar un bolsillo exclusivo para el teléfono, para evitar rayones en la pantalla.

   También me he adaptado a la nueva forma de usar el teléfono sin botones en la parte de abajo; ya que al tener la opción de “ir atrás” con solo deslizar hacia la izquierda o la derecha en los bordes, es mucho más cómodo, fácil y eficiente.

   Otra opción que me encanta muchísimo es la de la “llave inteligente”, que es el botón del lado izquierdo, ya que ahí configuré las capturas de pantalla con un solo toque, ya que hago capturas a cada rato sobre los juegos que voy jugando, entre otras cosas; y la linterna la puse con 2 clics porque al ponerla con 1 se puede activar al meterse el teléfono en el bolsillo o al ser tocado sin interés de encenderla.

   Tiene muy buen sonido y se siente bien al escuchar lo que voy viendo y sin problemas de calidad.

   El sensor de huellas digitales está alucinante, ya que tiene una sensibilidad muy buena.

   Sin embargo, no uso protección con huella digital por Seguridad, ya que, un Policía mal intencionado o un delincuente, pueden obligarte por la fuerza a poner tu dedo o dedos para abrir tu teléfono y robarte dinero o información que no tienes interés en compartir; por eso solo uso un patrón, ya que, aunque alguien intente ver de lejos, es más difícil seguir la ruta de tus dedos; pero no sería igual si pones un PIN.

   Hasta ahora lo único que no me ha funcionado de las opciones internas es la del NFC, ya que solo aparece la opción de configuración avanzada (en inglés), pero al tocarla no lleva a ningún sitio; y cuando abro alguna App que permite pagos sin contacto, al buscar la tecnología en el teléfono y no encontrarla, se sale.

   En fin, estoy satisfecho con el teléfono; y con relación al tema de los pagos NFC, deberían resolver eso con tiempo, ya que hoy en día eso es muy necesario e importante y debería de estar funcionando con normalidad; aunque, espero que corrijan el error en alguna actualización.

   Sin dudas mi compra de otro teléfono más adelante será de la Marca Umidigi, ya que ofrecen dispositivos de alta calidad con garantía, a muy bajo costo.

    I have been using Umidigi for many years now. I have been comfortable with their A-series phones until very recently.
   The F3 feels great in your hands with the curved body. Even with the 6.7” screen, it doesn’t feel overly bulky. I bought the sunglow gold colour and it looks better in person. It comes with a clear case, pre-applied screen protector and 18W fast charging brick with cable. When you turn it on apps, videos and games run smoothly and the colours are very vivid. You get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (117 GB is actually available before you start installing new apps and using the camera.) The camera does a very good job taking videos at 1080p. There is a triple camera on the back that allows you to take normal photos, wide angle and macro. There are many options as well which is impressive for a phone in this price range. The selfie camera on the front is also good at 16 MP. The battery lasts me multiple days. This phone also has NFC. The fingerprint reader works well and fast, similar to my previous Umidigi phones.

   Umidigi continues to impress me. The left side of the phone has a customizable key that allows for 3 quick options. There is a dual mic and also an FM radio that does not require headphones to use. These things are not deal breakers, but the little things such as these is what has always gave me a great impression of Umidigi. Phones from other manufacturers in this price range have a fraction of the features, speed and storage. This is why I have been using Umidigi for years now. What a great phone! I would highly recommend.

   So I have had this phone for about a month now, so I have really had some time to write a review on this device. I was currently using a Samsung S9 plus. in a full body case. For 4 years now before purchasing this phone. I really liked the sleek design and feel of this device. I was happy to have a new smartphone. Better battery, bigger screen compared to my Samsung. I have had some learning curves while I have been using this phone. The camera is …..NOT the greatest compared to my Samsung 9plus. Kinda let down in that department and it has really made me want to return this phone as I take ALOT of pictures. I just don’t understand why my pictures are sooooo blurry. I could open my camera app on my s9plus and snap a quick pic and know it wouldn’t be blurry. However with this phone you really need to PAY ATTENTION when taking a picture or you might be real disappointed in the quality. This is really my only gripe about this phone. If you do your research properly you will know that bigger megapixels is not always the best way to go. It’s quality versus quantity in megapixels. Now when you DO get a great picture it is very detailed, rare but it happens. My other gripe is, I have never had a smartphone WITHOUT a proper case, that bothers me. I like full body protection. I somehow have already put a nice long scratch in the screen protector it comes with. Super unimpressed with that as I am always careful with my phone’s even with full body front and back protection. This phone literally smashes my s9plus in speed and the fingerprint scanner is top notch, so good that I actually had to disable it lol!!! That is personal preference, and while it definitely excels in the speed department I like that it’s running Android 11 and everything I do is quick and responsive. Tons of memory and no worries with this smartphone other than the ummm…camera app and lack of full body protection. It hooks up great to Bluetooth and screen casting can be a bit laggy and choppy to our tv, which I found odd but not a huge deal. I have found some apps to help with organizing my pictures ans music, also works really well in my SUV with a fm transmitter plugged in to listen to music. So my take away for this particular device is……if your buying for a teen or elderly they will love the ease and flexibility of this smartphone. Price is definitely on point for what you get. But don’t be too blown away by the camera, definitely a let done. Umidigi please have more options for cases with full protection for this model. I’d like to have a front screen coverage and back to feel more safer about accidents. Hope this helps to whomever is looking to buy this phone.

    Umidigi F3 is an excellent budget smartphone for it’s price with a stylish design and decent specifications in terms of the screen, cameras, and even the processor is powerful enough to play games. No bloatware like on Samsung, clean UI, smooth and fast! Large, 5150 mAh battery to last 1.5 days, 128 GB UFS 2.1 of storage, dual SIM: nanoSIM + nanoSIM or microSD (TF). Sony IMX582 rear camera with a 48Mp sensor takes great pictures, and the 16Mp for selfies. Headphone jack will save you money since you can connect any 3.5 mm ort headset without adapter which is rare nowadays. Package comes with USB-C cable and fast charge power brick, which most manufacturers not including with smartphones. Side fingerprint sensor, a bright and contrasting picture visible in direct sunlight. This phone has all 4G band support in Canada and will work with any mobile provider: even if you take oversees, it will most certainly will work (FDD-LTE: B1 /2 /3 /4 /5 /7 /8 /12 /13 /17 /18 /19 /20 /25 /26 /28A /28B /B66 = TDD-LTE: B34 /38 /39 /40 /41). Four different colors to buy from, I did galaxy blue. And don’t forget about NFC: you can setup google wallet to pay in store!

    This phone is incredible value for the money. 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is unheard of for this price range. Combined with a helio p70 processor, this is an incredible machine at this price point.

    Phone is very snappy and the large display is very nice. Fingerprint reader is very effective and works way better than the previous versions offered on older Umidigi phones. Camera works as intended and connectivity to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices is flawless. I haven’t tried the NFC chip yet as I do not use this technology regularly. There are no features that are lacking on this phone. The only downside could be the lack of 5G connectivity, but for the average user this will not be a problem.

    Truly an outstanding product at this price point.

    Personally I love it. Tons of storage I don’t have pick and choose what apps I want or what pictures/videos/music to leave on it. Only part I don’t like is brightness and how involved google is. But that can be over looked and worked around easily enough. I really don’t think I could have found better for what I paid. Fingerprint reader is very sensitive though.
