One of the worst products I’ve purchased. As I began using it, I realized that as I click-dragged, it would release the hold, then click again. This results in a lot of annoyance, because you’ll try to drag something across the screen, and it will release your hold on the thing, and then randomly click something else on the screen. VERY annoying when doing Word processing, because you’ll select areas of text, and only get half of what you wanted. I sometimes sit there for 30 seconds, trying desperately just to highlight a portion of text. Eventually I give up and just use the keyboard. I honestly just smashed it out of frustration and threw it in the trash where it belongs.

First off, if you’re into any sort of gaming, keep looking…This is not the mouse you’re looking for. If, like me, you just needed a cheap mouse to run a laptop hooked to a laser engraver then bob’s your uncle. It would have received a full 5 starts, but it’s size was a bit of a deal breaker as I’ve got very large hands and can’t even see the mouse if I lay one flat on top of it.

Great mouse, lightweight and responsive. However, 6 months after purchase, the rubber wire coating has come apart in two places – the USB connection and also the connection to the mouse itself. I understand it’s “you get what you pay for”, however I expected it to last longer than this!

I have been using the same computer mouse for years and recently it was having issues with clicking on tabs, it seemed to double click on everything. I decided to open it up and clean everything which did make it function good for a bit but then it started having issues with not clicking on tabs. Finally after being frustrated i decided to go ahead and buy a new mouse, looking for the least expensive with good reviews.
This mouse was a little less than $7 and had a short shipping time. Out of the packaging it is a little smaller than my old mouse so it took a little getting used to. Hooking it up was very simple, just unplug the old mouse and plug this one in, worked right away. I did have to go in and lower the pointer speed down alot, it was too fast zipping all over the place. After switching the setting it seems to work great. The wheel is nice and quiet, my old one was noisy and clicked every turn.
Nice inexpensive mouse that works.

This mouse is really great and all, but I seem to be having connection issues with it. The cord isn’t broken or anything, but it keeps disconnecting at the most spontaneous times. They’re brief, but sometimes it ends up happening every few seconds of disconnecting and reconnecting.

Bought this for $6.99; price was great, shipping was super fast.
Plug & play mouse/peripheral: worked fine for 90 minutes then optical just cut out (left- and right-click buttons still worked, but I couldn’t move cursor). Unplugged & replugged, tried on 3 different devices, reset USB Root Hubs via Device Mgr – nothing worked to restart optical.
It’s too bad, cuz it’s a great value and good size/fits my hand well, which is great if you just need a simple mouse. Unfortunately, for me, this is the second Verbatim mouse that has stopped working within less than 6 months. I’m going to switch to another brand (the Logitech M-100 I previously ordered still works well). Glad this product worked out for other buyers, it just didn’t work for me.

Bought this to replace my Amazon basics mouse when it quit working on me. Here’s my opinion comparing the two.
Design: Verbatim looks better, both ergonomic. Loudness: Amazon Basics feels softer and slightly more quiet. Cord Length: Verbatim shorter. Sensitivity: Comparable/same. Life: Amazon Basics lasted me 3 years will see about this one. Price: at the moment Verbatim is cheaper by about 6-7%
Verdict: unless it stops working in under 6 months – it’s a great mouse for work or casual use.

This is a poor quality product. After using this wired optical mouse for about 3 months (roughly 1-2 hours a day), the casing around the wires has split open at the connection point to the mouse causing glitches in its functionality. It has been designed to be rapidly disposable. I had thought that Verbatim had good products, but would not recommend that you buy this product. Their warranty replacement policy is poor as well and would require you to pay shipping to return the product to the USA for their review and possible replacement, which would end up costing more than the device, your time, and a long period without having a replacement mouse.
