Very well build ethernet cable! I’ll be using this as my quick-connect cable when working on customer equipment and expect it to last a very, very long time. The outer braid feels thick and strain resistant and the metal shielded ends shouldn’t break like normal plastic RJ45 connectors.

This is a very nice heavy duty ethernet cable for use with my tower computer. It appears to be high quality and works great. All pieces of this cable are tight and the protected jack end clips are a necessity when moving or transporting the cable around when not plugged in. I seem to have very good internet speed connection with this cable. The cable is thick and flat and has a plastic interweave type coating on it, like an exoskeleton for protection. I received the 6 foot version which is plenty long enough to reach from my computer to the router on my gaming table. I highly recommend this quality ethernet cable to everyone else, especially at the low prices available which I feel is an awesome deal!

I really like this cable design and construction. It is a 6 foot Cat8 Ethernet cable with a woven nylon cover and snagless RJ-45 connectors. What I really like about this, with the nylon cover and almost flat cable, it coils up easily and compactly for storing. That is great for travelers who need to pack a lot of electronics accessories in a limited space. I got this cable mainly for use while I travel and need or want a faster or more reliable wired connection with my laptop rather than a wireless connection.
However, the flat design makes it a little more difficult to connect in tight spaces and go around corners. But, the cable seems to be very durable and well made and should hold up well. I also like the black and white check pattern; 1) It looks great with my laptop color, and 2) I know which cable is mine and no one can “accidentally” slip it into their bag. 😉
Overall, I think this is a great value, especially given the quality and design that went into this cable. I expect that it will hold up very well to all my travels and its many uses.

Step1979 –
First, a very well made Cat 8 cable. Nicely woven jacket, premium connectors (See pic). I always wondered if I was limiting my speeds with my older ethernet cables, so I decided to give this cable a try. This Cat 8 cable was excellent. It maxed out my available internet speeds. See pic 3. I then tried a Cat 7 cable. Again, it maxed out my available internet speeds. See pic 4. I then tried a Cat 5e cable not a cat 5 (speeds up to 1000mbps with 5e) and again it maxed out my available internet speeds. See pic 5. So clearly, these cables were all up to the task for my limited needs, for now. But frankly, Cat 8 is made for much higher speeds and frequency than a home user will typically see at this time. BUT, the future may hold even greater speeds for the home user, so I would say to buy this if you want to future proof your cabling. After all, it’s around the same price as similarly made older standard cat cables, so why not buy this instead of the older tech !

These are relatively flat, but with the cloth cover they are thicker than some other flat cables. The shielding and extra twists for Cat8 level make these a somewhat stiff cable and the anti-snag feature means you can’t bend the cable directly off of the connector very well so if you need to make a sharp right angle turn just away from the jack, it won’t work very well without an adapter to make the right angle.
