I bought this to power the fan on an InstaFire Inferno Pro Stove (an indoor/outdoor camping & emergency stove) and for that it works great. It’s well constructed, it has 3 USB ports, the flashlight is nice and bright, and the carabiner clip is a nice touch. However, as others have said, charging by the solar panel is slow; this is NOT a design flaw nor is it an underpowered solar panel. Doing a bit of research, most solar panels for a power bank in this size and price range typically provide 400-500 mAh. The capacity of the battery on this unit is 38800, so doing some basic math that means at a charging rate of 400 mAh (as listed in the manual for this model) it would take 97 hours to fully charge, and that’s under ideal conditions. In the area that I live, the max amount of sunlight in a day is 16 hours, so that means it would take about 6 days to fully charge the battery. The solar panel is not really intended to completely charge up the battery, rather to ‘top it up’ after you’ve used it for a while, mainly for the flashlight. If you need to be able to solar charge this type of device faster, I suggest you purchase an additional solar charging panel; they can be purchased for $20 or less, and Amazon has plenty to choose from.

This power bank is easy to use, it can be charged under the windshield of the car!Itโ€™s perfect, I have a rechargeable vest with a USB interface, which can be perfectly adapted.

The quality of this charger is excellent, great portability for everywhere you go, the performance is outstanding, the size was bigger than I thought, brightness on lights are bright ๐Ÿ˜Ž & the battery life seems endless pending on what you do w/it! The manual was very laid out as to how to work it, what button is for what but the cord is pretty short, need longer one! Other than that it’s great & I’m happy w/it!! A good friend had recommended these solar chargers to me & said you’re crazy to not buy them & how right she was, I ended up buying 2 for upcoming rainy/hurricane season & I’m not going to be stuck w/out a phone ๐Ÿ‘ I highly recommend these to everyone, always great to have backups for every occasion! I just recommended these to more friends & they’ll be buying them today!! Thanks for a well made charger, it’s like you get 2 for 1….electric & sun charges, definitely worth the price!! ๐Ÿค—

The Kepswin Solar Charger is not working properly. Item could not be checked by the date of return due to insufficient sunlight due to monsoon. Now found that the charger is not working properly. There is no contact anywhere to change the item. Very disappointed

This product is very convenient and helpful. My grndkids all play sports and sometimes I am out all day with them. The solar charger is so handy to keep my phone and theirs charged. It does take time to originally charge. It is nice that you can charge it with the sun or plug it into the wall.

I now have two of these for my Bug-Out Bag. I wanted the Bag to be equipped w/ solar rechargeable power banks so I can set it up w/ components that can be recharged; radio, flashlights, phones, and a charger for rechargeable AA & AAA batteries for other items.

More of an observation than a complaint, I’ll say these aren’t real fast; both to charge and be charged. Perhaps that’s the nature of these things. It’s not a serious issue as long as you plan ahead, knowing that the you’ll need time for it to do it’s thing; power IN or OUT. For my use the solar charge capability was essential and, while slow, works just fine.

The flashlight feature is nice, not sure how much I’ll use it but nice to have. Same w/ the little compass; not sure of it’s accuracy but doesn’t seem too far off. I believe these are going to work fine for my needs. They are a bit larger and fairly heavy to be carried in a pocket but that’s not the way I plan to use them. I’ve recommended them to family and friends and have now purchased two.

This is not a bad charger… it is lightweight (a clue to it’s lack of capacity), the solar cells provide a small amount of charging in an emergency, it is inexpensive, and it has ok power — but there is no way this is 20,000mAh. I have a high quality Anker 10,000 mAh battery that has as much or more capacity than this battery.

So my advice is to get this if you have a specific need for its features and you don’t really need 20,000 and can get by with less. The solar cells do charge it, but very slowly, so you can’t really rely on it except for very minimal use when you only have the Sun for charging it.

So the bottom line for me is I kept it and use it (it’s cheap), but it is not as powerful as a 20,000 mAh battery should be.

It’s bigger than anticipated, however. It is very portable. It fits comfortably in you hand and it is very versatile. The light is also bright and very useful. It charges multiple devices as advertised and is very handy during power outages.

I was really hoping to have this solar charger for camping so I wouldnโ€™t have to worry about having multiple battery packs or running my car to charge my portable fan, watch, and phone. This battery came mostly charged, but I charged it with a power cord (it comes with a small one) before I left for a 3 day outdoor trip to make sure it was ready. I used it after the first day. Worked fine. I put it on the hood of my car in mostly full sun, no trees, middle of a field. It was blinking, but after 12+ hours, it wasnโ€™t charged enough to use. I left it out in full sun for another day. It had 1 blue dot worth of charge. I brought it home and again left it out for a day in full sun, no shade, no trees nearby. You can see in my photos. It had 2 blue dots. And the power output wasnโ€™t that great. At that rate, it would take *at least* 4 days to charge to full. That defeats the purpose entirely. I live in the mountains, high elevation, the sun is like 10โ€™ from us and our days are long. Thereโ€™s no reason it should take that long to charge. Every other solar item I have charges to full within an afternoon. The solar lights sitting on the same car with this charger charged to full in the same sun that didnโ€™t charge this battery pack.

The door to get to the plug ports is hard to open. Iโ€™m a girl with natural nails, I ended up using items to pry it open.

I had high hopes, but this charger falls flat. Going to return.

This solar power bank is not at all charging in sunlight.
Need to be plugged in electric socket like normal power banks.
