These are not suitable for PoE. My Ubiquiti APs constantly reboot if you use this wire with the supplied injector. Had to move the power to closer to the AP and inject it there, this stopped the reboots.

I used these cables to replace older CAT5 ones to take full advantage of my Gigabit backbone in the house. They are easy to use – the RJ45 connectors fit snugly and the flat cable make for easy routing/fishing through walls and floors. Tests show that these cables perform well with Gigabit speeds.

I was sceptical about this cable being branded as CAT6 due to the cables being flat. The 4 twisted pairs should be separated by a plastic cross in the middle, but being flat I thought to try and see about future proofing + running as a back-up to a gaming console/smartTV (chasing the cables in a plastered wall).
The max speed of these that I can get is 100Mbps from a Virgin Hub3 to a Samsung Smart TV. The speed should be in GB if advertised as CAT6. This cable speed is more like a CAT5 – fine for a back up, but could have saved a few pounds by buying an actual CAT5 or CAT5e instead. They’re only £10-£15 for 20m, so I’m not looking for a refund and will still use the cables but more a reason to why these are sold under false speed claims?

Very good cable, it is nice and thin so it doesn’t look bad against a skirting board or alternativly would be nice and flat running under a carpet. The speeds are perfect for transfers / gaming or everyday surfing. Much better speeds than my 5ghz wifi connection. Also works fine with a network switch. It also came with some cable clips and 2 velcro cable ties

Due to working from home this product was much needed to run a company desktop computer. Love the flat design, meaning it can be put under carpets if needed, and even where this is not possible, it can be ran up by skirting board and is barely noticable. I ran this from router in living room, up the stairs, across the landing, and a 3 quarters way round a room to get to home office set up. Not only did it reach, bit I had like 20 foot spare and the internet speed hasent dropped at all. All that for under £15?! Bargain!!

I connected this cable between our router and Sky TV box. The following morning we found that our wifi was not working. All the correct lights were showing on the router and phones etc were showing that they were receiving wifi but nothing would download from any site. I disconnected this cable and the wifi returned to normal. My internet provider tells me that ethernet cables are a regular cause of wifi problems, I can’t say whether this one is particularly at fault.

Well it was wire so I wired up computer stuff. I had plenty of extra guess I miss measured but it’s alright. Bad thing is I dropped it and it flopped and got all tangled up I had a rats nest of wire I sat in the floor and tried to make it all nice and neat again wasn’t working out to good so I had to get a beer and we’ll I just winged it and went with and it’s like that to this day and works just fine. Thanks for asking and I’d recommend them to any o e. And it also came with some cool Velcro straps in different colors. But I used them on my remote control truck thanks cya
