My second computer screen had a VGA cable with an adapter for a HTMI connection to the PC, every time I started the computer the second screen fell into a sleep mode and the screen turned black until I wriggled on the adapter and the screen came back just to fall asleep again shortly after this again, and this can continue 6 or 7 times. Then the screen stayed on pretty much for the rest of the day I used the PC. But it aggravated me a lot. This cable VGA to HDMI solved this problem and no more sleepy second screen when starting the PC.

IT IS A GOOD PRODUCT, I BOUGHT IT BY MISTAKE, WITHOUT KNOWING AHEAD THE MONITOR WHERE I PLANNED ON USING IT DID NOT HAVE ON BOARD SPEAKERS. THE ADAPTER WHEN IS HDMI WOULD TRANSFER VIDEO AND AUDIO TOGETHER, SO I GUESS IT WOULD WORK GREAT WHEN CONNECTED TO A MONITOR WITH AUDIO ON BOARD OR AT LEAST AUDIO OUTPUT JACKS.

This cable is working great for my setup. I have an Acer monitor (AL1916W) and I needed to set the Refresh Rate to 60.070 in order to have an acceptable display. Without setting this manually, it seemed like the cable created a distorted image and was defective.
