We all know GoPro makes a great product. Only issue I have is I can’t stream live on YouTube, one of the main reasons I bought the camera, spent countless hours with GoPro, trying to figure it out still no fix, oh well what can ya do. I still enjoy the camera it’s awesome for anything else! 4 month later camera won’t turn on at all, tried new battery still nothing, I can’t stream on YouTube still, camera is useless to me, my IPhone is better! Tossing it in the junk drawer, waste of money! It hit the junk drawer today were it belongs!

I bought this camera because I need to do some airborne shots from a wing tip mounted camera on an aerobatic aircraft. I use it often and I’m very happy with the quality of the image. It takes a little bit getting used to because I made a jump from a GoPro 4 to a GoPro 10.

I’ve discovered that the batteries, with a manufacturing date from last July, are too old and won’t charge. I contacted GoPro directly, and they said batteries should be only about a month old from date of purchase or they degrade (because they haven’t been initially charged for too long). NOT impressed that Amazon is shipping product that has been in the warehouse for too long.
The case is a good size but should include dividers to prevent scratches.
The camera itself is a wonderful product, I can’t wait to use it.

Tuve que comprarla de emergencia porque iba a salir de viaje y resultó ser una muy buena compra, la metí como 10 veces al agua (con arena y sin arena) y todo sigue perfecto. No compren la carcasa que venden por separado para meterla bajo el agua, esa sólo es para cuando van a estar a más de 10m de profundidad. Lo que no me gusta es la duración de la batería.

No puedo creer lo bueno es que es esta cámara, estoy completamente asombrado de lo que Go Pro ha podido hacer. Hace un par de semanas una vieja cámara Go Pro que tiene mi papá, es la Go Pro Hero no tiene el número y cuando la probé dije está bastante bien no está mal para lo vieja que es y hace unos días que compré esta cámara pude darme cuenta de lo mucho que ha avanzado con su tecnología, la estabilidad es increíble y la calidad están bien igual de increíble. Grabé a 5.3k 60fps y quede sos,grado!! No lo puedo recomendar suficiente, es perfecta.

Works well with no overheating issues once the update was installed. Time-lapse is beautiful & picture quality is good. Battery life really needs attention. Just drains to fast any way you set the camera up. Would I buy another? Already thinking about it..lol One last thing, the subscription needed is well not needed you know what I’m saying.

Contento con la calidad de grabación, pero es injustificable que esa sea la función de una cámara de acción y sufra sobrecalentamientos por hacer su función. En especial porque cada que sucede, el aparato va a sufrir desgaste de sus partes internas y las baterías, acortando su vida útil.
Las marcas en tecnología actualmente están tan empeñadas en lanzar nuevos modelos cada año “para ser mas llamativos que su competencia” y así mantener el consumismo, en vez de tomarse el tiempo necesario para hacer una completa “Investigacion y desarrollo” corrigiendo todos los problemas entre sus componentes.
Vivo en clima desértico y la he utilizado un par de veces a alrededor de 25°C. Pero tengo mis dudas de cuantos minutos continuos grabe sin parar en verano a 35°C o mas.
Mis sugerencias para disminuir en lo posible el sobrecalentamiento son: mantener apagada la conexión inalámbrica y solo encender para ver los videos guardados, grabar máximo a 2.7K, comprar tarjeta SD rápida.
Además, la aplicación GoPro Quik de windows no es compatible con esta cámara, solo la App para celular. Así que descargar tus videos para editarlos en la computadora es lento y torpe. La marca ha de buscar con eso que queramos pagar su suscripción anual para que se suban los videos automáticamente a la nube. Sin funciones innecesarias como esas, quizás el aparato no se sobrecalentaría.
En resumen: Para el nivel de precio que tiene este producto, sugiero intentar con otra marca.

Using my new GoPro was great on a recent trip. The video/picture quality was about what I expected. Loved the smoothness and how steady it made the videos appear even when moving around a bit. The touch screen took some getting used to and didn’t always go to the menu expected. The only real complaint is the loud beeps every time you turn it on or start video. There really should be volume control for that.
