When I got the laptop the escape key was loose on the keyboard, and I can’t use it for VR (Thanks Meta!) Other than that it’s well built and can run most modern games well on medium/low quality. Overall a decent machine for a beginner

Es un i5 de novena generacion, con una 1650, y 8 gbs, uno pensaria que algo asi estaria caro, pero nada mas lejos de la realidad, esto me costo 20 mil!!!!! el unico inconveniente y no se si fue cuestion de amazon o de mi banco fue que al ordenarla fue un martirio hacer a que me la enviaran amazon decia que mi tarjeta y no se si fue por el monto de la transaccion o que pero fallaba y estuve con eso 2 semanas hasta que finalmente pude comprarla…yo creo que fue cuestion del precio pero lo respetaron luego ya deshabilitaron la publicacion, pero todo va excelente y la recomiendo ampliamente si vuelven a colocarla, pero para ser una msi no paguen mas de 23….y aprovechen prime day y buen fin

Todo en esta laptop me parece perfecto, la pantalla a pesar de no ser IPS tiene una reproducción de colores buena y un ángulo de visión amplio, el grosor de la computadora es mucho menor que otras, excepto el sonido, las bocinas se ve que son buenas pero suenan muy chillantes, sin bajos ni agudos. Da la impresión de que es metálica pero sólo es la tapa, esto a mi no me molesta, en cambio agradezco la ligereza (más ligera que mi MBPr 15″ 2013).

… storage could be an issue. It fills up FAST, so you will likely need an external hard drive.
Aside from that I’ve had 0 problems with it after about 8 months of having it.

I play Videogames frequently and this laptop will play many games on high – although I use low to medium settings because the thing gets very, very hot (I purchased a laptop pad with fans built in to help keep it cool) 60 FPS on MW2, RDR2, and Ready or not for hours. (W/ power plugged in) Lasts only a hour or 2 at most while gaming on battery alone. Also, Upgrading to a 2 TB M.2 Storage is easy and I’ll say probably a requirement. you’ll fill up the 250GB-1TB in no time.

I really love anything related to PCs and Gaming. I’m not a Linus Tech Tip expert but I do understand a little bit. I got the core i5 with the 1650 gpu. And I can honestly say if you don’t care about running 4k with ultra graphics on games like Red Dead 2 then this is your laptop. Runs games smoothly (with a bit of tweaking of the graphics) at 1080p 60fps (which the monitor is 1080p). Temps so far have been ok but you do feel the heat with about 2 hours of game time (fans are usually quiet but will sound like a jet engine after a while). I will admit the battery life sucks. Even if I’m just doing some “light activities” (writing short stories and watching YouTube in the background) that battery just drains and no matter what I put the settings to make it slower it just drains quicker, also gaming on battery you can forget it! You get an hour at most with the battery. Keep it plugged in if you are gaming. Also if you’re a gamer think about upgrading the storage. I had to install about 2tb of extra storage cause I only had 74 gigs (out of 250 or something..) of storage on the small ssd you get included. So either think about getting a bigger m.2 or… coolest thing about this is you can add a regular laptop mechanical hard drive or a regular ssd. (I’m too poor after this purchase so I used a mechanical). I used a YouTube video to show me how to install. Kinda easy but I believe (if you are in the USA) it voids your warranty. So beware. All in all a good budget laptop
