I bought this cord to replace an old one of mine and I was thoroughly disappointed. It worked well for about a month until the charge began cutting in and out depending on how the cord was positioned. The lightning plug in was always loose within my phone, but it was a problem to begin with. I assume the poor quality materials have something to do with them. Other reviews have good remarks and some are also bad, so I’m assuming it’s a quality control issue. I would recommend just purchasing a product from Apple. It’s more expensive up front, but you’ll get 1+ yr worth of use before having to buy a second or third charger like the one listed.

It’s a good charger it’s charges very fast but after a few months it completely stopped working, then a week or two later it started working again, then it stopped again, so I changed the back and now it works perfectly fine

This charger is fast and is easily packed for travel. I need the long cord because if I am charging my smart phone at night, I am either reading on my Kindle or streaming a television program or movie. When I fall asleep the battery would discharge if I didn’t have this long-cord charger, leaving me in a predicament in the morning. I actually use more than one.
